You're wrong. Jedi is not ONE profession, it's a set of seperate professions. Force wielder has cloak, master defender has AI, master enhancer has statis, enhancer has force run, lightsaber has armorbreak.

I was a jedi long before the CU. But its not like you can't mix these skills and still not have a viable template. Its not like you can have cloak and no armor break etc etc. You can make a template (like mine) with Aura, snare, root, ranged kd, power attack, armor break, loads of different timed saber attacks and so on so forth (all the tools a bh has, sometimes more).Do not presume to tell me jedi have little skills, but yes there are indeed made up for a number of different trees
So you're saying that all jedis have to bee Mdef/menh ls 0400 powers 0400 and some healer to be able to survive?
/sigh you truely are blinded by bias. Look my template is defender 4440, enhancer 3002, healer 4000 and MLS. If thats not enough skills to survive i dont know what isn't.

You said we have to mix skills. And what if I don't want to mix skills, I want to have a template that I like AND I can fight with... no that's not possible since both LS and powers sucks.
Sorry, was reading this before I hit the sack and I must say to the original poster...you sir are an idiot. Myself I have a M BH (yes I admit he is a resec but that was because I had already ground out like 26 others for my jedi and didnt really want to grind another) anyways thats not the point...want to flame me for it, go ahead. But anyways...I unlocked my jedi the night before publish 7 <--whoa long time ago 
march 16, 2003. So yeah I've been a jedi for a very long time and have gone through it all...anyways point is, I've stopped playing my Jedi now personally b/c its really not that fun anymore for me. First and foremost...as MBH are kinda sick of the respec ones cause they did grind it all out (especially the really old-school ones...bleh I really respect you guys <--not sarcasm) I'm pissed that I ground out 24 professions to get my jedi...took a very long time, pretty much all of my money, only to get a Jedi that had a tef from anyone anytime I decide to pull out my saber and do anything. I really wish they would bring that back though...it was fun hehe.
I could go on and on..so much to say on this topic...but bottom line right now... Jedi is very easy to grind...no tefs...no visibility in groups...no more exp loss from pve deaths...god you all have it made. I cant even begin to imagine why you are all complaining...ohh no my saber sucks...so friggin what? deal with it, if you can't adapt, then you don't need to be in that profession, plain and simple. And as for saying well bounty hunters dont get exp loss...blah blah blah...who cares...its a regular elite profession. You know the risks when you take on the Jedi title...thats what really pisses me off to no end...Jedi who know what they are going into and then turn around and cry because its not what they expect
ok...yeah I'm done...might have gone off topic...I really don't know and don't care...had to just vent a bit So if you chose to flame me, know that I won't be able to reply til I get home from work tomorrow at about 6pm pst....so chose your words wiselyas I will surely respond

And umm...not sure what you are thinking...but played right these professions are very useful and don't suck...yes powers has little defense but they get some cool little tricks

split in 6? i dont think so ...just 6 different pools of abilities you can build on ....
and yes the jedi dabbler CAN have it all asa poster above me states
