Just to put things in perspective a little here.....How often in school/real life do you see the 325lbs body builder get'n picked on? How often do you see the lil scrawny guy end up getting the short end of the stick?

I hunt any mark. I'm very open, I'm imperial, but it does not prevent me from taking imperial targets, very rarely will I bother an overt imp jedi though defending a major city, I would ratherhunta rebel in that situation. I'm a BH first, imp second, yall are jedi first, faction affiliation second. I have just as many screenies of sub 200k marks as I do over 200k. Well maybe not as many But you get the idea.

I have had some 160k marks give me a much better fight then 200k marks - Some of it could be template, but I like to believe the player plays a larger role then most believe. Heck for the first time I had a 108k send me out using my burst run food to prepair for a 2nd round the other day...he did go down in round two though.

I'm in it for the hunt, not the fight, not the coin. Which is why I don't take /tiped payouts or payed safe periods. And TBH some of the 170-190k jedi IMO give the best chase/hunt/fight/chase.

Not ment to be drawn asan arguement/flame war, but todays paddy is tomarrows loud mouth knight, and most servers already have enough of those.

*edit* Jedi also signed up as a PVP based class the day they hit paddy, ther use to be an emphesis (sp?) on this but somehow is getting lost as time goes on.

I mainly hunt jedi from 140K to 224K (non-knight) simply because a Knight no longer has anything to lose in terms of XP. I may hunt a Knight in a group just for the fun of it, however solo hunting Knight's kind of take the fun out of it for me. I want to see that XP loss. When I USED to have a jedi character, I could care less if someone killed me when I was full template but it got me fired up to die before that and have to regrind for the xp,,,,as it does most paddys.

Mainly because with knights youre pretty much guaranteed a fight.

For fledgeling BHers its more important to pick out lower marks and learn from it that way as the Jedi will either run away or give you a fight you can learn from. As for other hunters I can say that fighting Knights can get really boring as it often turns into a competition of who can sit and buttonmash the longest. With paddies, they either pull a rifle out, give you a really brave fight or run and give you some fun with the chase.

That and soloing knights is only possible with stalking them for weeks and waiting for them to be incapped and ninja DBing or kicking off then. Or with a certain few templates that not everyone finds fun.

Im a jedi and i have a bounty hunter, why do most bounty hunters only hunt padawans. On my jedi, i never get hunted, but when i grind i see padawans getting hunted all the time. On my BH, i only hunt knights, and bout 45% of the time i can manage a win. My guns arent legendary or anything, i just know wha to do. Why do all the other BH's not hunt knights?

I occasionally hunt Knightsonly fortrophy kills. It doesn't mean much whenKnights lose xp.. I've won a few and lost a few. Padawans on the other hand need the xp. When I kill one, its aset back to their Jedi progression.

Trying to make jedi lose xp is pointless these days. Even if you take 400k from them it's just a few more hours on kashyyyk. I fight jedi because it's a challenge and most of them are show offs that without their jedi abilities wouldn't be able to pvp themselves out of a box. I do hit low level jedi now and again because I want to make them stay out of sight and from an rping point of view my character would kill any jedi.
