Hmmmmm, just out of curiousity, but wasn't it posted somewhere that this was to stop a bh where a /duel request sent out and then attack would keep the jedi from responding back because of the duel request?

Thought I read that somewhere.

Could be wrong

Yes, this is their "easy" way of fixing a problem by causing another problem. The problem was something along the lines of the Jedi declining a Duel on the BH and he wouldn't be able to attack back.

It the jedi tries to do the /duel before you're ready to attack, you've already blown your cover. Try again, and be a little more careful next time.

That's asinine. Jedi are exploiting a game mechanic to "blow a cover". The only thing that should blow a cover is an admission from the bounty hunter, or the moment the BH opens fire, not because some Jedi crafted together a little /duel macro.

ROFL. And the ability to "suprise" our opponents was supposed to be our balance to the Jedi power level. Hahahahaha.

Don't worry, the grand power of anonymous missions will restore thebalance, right?

Not defending it but, your argument holds little with me when the fix that caused this was brought on by the BH using the /duel exploit to not be attacked back by there marks. Your argument also then will support the fixing of /duel a friend to hit a cloaker. just to prove where I stand on this see this and notice the timestamp is before this post. clickie

omg lol this made me laugh ..who is this idiot? we are bounty hunters the only way to succesfully take down a high lvl mark is to trick them it's what we do ..and that goes for all jedi if we don't trick them to get close they can just run away

Lol, we should all have /acceptduel macros on, this way we'll get to kill more jedi.

Thats exactly what I did to workaround not being able to attack back prior to this fix. LOL I think you are right even though it wont work because there macro is written to retract it without any delay, but it might generate a false sys message to them and cost them food, and macro smashing in the long run and frustrate them into stopping this. I am so against this exploit after it was a fix to an exploit.

I take it your a sucky BH ingame? That's even if you are one. You can not go head on with a 225k Master defender, at least not everytime. And I guess you're also not a major BH on your server, because I'm talking about being that. I have Jedi constantly doing the /duel thing for me in theed. And no, runnnig an accept macro would be idiotic of me because of the fact I'd probably have 10 Jedi on me if I did it in theed (lol). The way a BH does his work in game is by waiting it out, getting them at a time where it will cost them, being tricky, suprising the Jedi.
