I love how both professions are thrown into one big group by the other group as all being the same. We might as well be back in the 1960's...

Again, I am forced to comment how amazed I am to see everyone cry about "Oh nOEs the skie b f4lling!!!"

Is it too difficult to look at a system which provides for, *gasp* "A Reward" to encourage players to _NOT_ go afk in a house!?!?!?

I guess these post serve as an offering to the lowest denominator...

OK kiddies, let's look at "how can we reward Jedi to not baby sit their houses...thus making their presnce availble for the visibilty system."

No other profession gets a reward for not sitting AFK in their house. Jedi should not either.

Nor should you have the right to troll forums, yet we do not prevent you.

Try not being a tool and dig deep for some unseen common sense...it may serve you well.

The more intelligent responce would have been "why would this need to be isolated to one profession. We should look ata new feture that encourages ALL players to get out there and play as to warrant reason not to sit dormant with the probability that all would be loosing their <insert perk>." Yet, your previous posts show your blinders are heavily in use....

Jedi can sit in their house all day if they want. Fine with me. However Jedi should confess that the sole purpose for this is to waste time for a BH. At least be honest because your arguments don't hold.

"I'm crafting, chatting going down to the store etc etc."

Guess what. You'll be kicked after i believe 20 minutes unless you're running a macro. If you're at the keyboard actually doing something, is it so hard to move you're toon a step every 20 min, or is the effort to overwhelming?

If you're going to do something else for more than30 minutes like going to the store why not log? It is allowed to log in again you know. Granted it requires some clicks on the mouse but maybe it's to much work.

"There was lots of reading, much too much, in the game. There was a lot of wandering around learning about different abilities. We really needed to give people the experience of being Han Solo or Luke Skywalker rather than being Uncle Owen, the moisture farmer. We wanted more instant gratification: kill, get treasure, repeat. We needed to give people more of an option to be part of what they have seen in the movies rather than something they had created themselves."

I admit if I sit in a house afk it is for no other reason then to annoy/waste the time of a BH...

I don't agree with you, so I must be trolling.

I don't agree that there's any "problem" to be fixed.

Jedi deserve neither penalty or rewards regarding being afk in a house. No other profession has penalties or rewards for such behavior.

Take Jedi off the mission terminals if they've been in a private structure for x minutes, sure. That neither benefits or rewards Jedi. It does improve the gameplay for BH's.

Stop being a tool and assuming that everyone who doesn't agree with you is trolling.

I'm sorry, I should have waited for you to point out how hypocritical you are before pointing my little green suction cupped fignures ar you.

You don't want to increase game play for anyone other then a BH player?

You views to disrupt player content while enforcing hatred and disgust towards others is indicitve of your choice of a signature. I've seen your other posts, most of which are without class and lacking of respect.

How appropriate of a quote from someone who's never been hugged by their parent or told they love them...I'm sad for you.

one solution that hits everyone

Remove recursing macro
And
All players in game without any move for more than 10 minuts is disconnected

that was supposed to happen 1.5 years ago according to TH...

what stops us from pulling out a droid and taking it in our private house and setting it up to patrol in the house and doing a /follow...no macro needed and you don't go offline.

OP your suggestion is possible, but at the moment, there are just way too many other issues that need to be worked on. Jedi has an entire novel of issues, crafters have alot also that need to be worked on. Its a thought, but as of now, i dont think there will be any way for this to come to fruition.

Yes, many issues prevail since the Great Combat Balance which suceeded on some while failing on other issues.

I would think there should be a form of a system which could exist as a "generic" rev-limiter or "power-break" that would _NOT_ be applied to PvP. While this would NOT "fix" anything, it could have a great potential to encourage more activity while endorsing abstention from dormacy.

Again, possible down side would be unapplicable to PvP.

Hmm the title of this post by the OP is amusing and misleading at the same time. It seems bhs will not be happy till jedi are automatically stripped naked, made to lie down and simply die at the hands of any 4 day old bh. You seem not to be satisfied until there are no jedi left at all, and no place at all for them to have as a refuge. If you stopped to actually think about what you are proposing and directed such craven ideas at yourselves you would realize how seriously out of whack your comments are. It is no small tragedy that the devs have given in to the stupidity people like the OP and his ilk. With everyone looking to skewer jedi, ruin jedi, nerf jedi, screaming to remove them from the gcw, make bhs the new gods of swg, the list goes on ad naseum, one wonders if the time has not come to officially rename this game (nerf wars/bh wars). nvm that bhs were bit players at most in the Star wars universe, and were mostly oriented towards smugglers and other such nefarious types. The footage I saw showed bhs as assassins hunting politicians as well and jedi hunting the bh when their paths crossed. So where are our jedi mission terminals to hunt bhs? Bhs invariably came out on the losing end of jedi bh encounters, and yet in this universe jedi are made little more than useless characters with pretty glowing sabers. I see nothing fair or legitimate about any of this.

Even if there were an incentive to me not going AFK... I'd still go AFK in a house or wherever I wish. Plain and simply I don't like to log in and out all day long just cause I need to go AFK.. people have real life things happen while they are playing the GAME. I've stated things like this before... I've gone AFK on my regular characters just as much as I do on the Jedi. And yes, I have a BH. If your "mark" is in a house... drop it and move on. Fact is most Jedi spend more time outside of a house than they do inside one. They can't help the fact that you got their mission just as they had to go to the bathroom or eat dinner.

Have we run out of things to whine and complain about? Jedi pay to play this game as much as any other player. If they need to go AFK this shouldn't be an issue. It's almost like being in elementary school and having to ask your teacher if you can use the restroom... They say no, and you just sit there until you piss in your seat.

Ridiculous. If you don't like the fact that you might run across a Jedi in a house so badly, maybe you should rethink your profession as a BH. And oh... AFK Jedi in a house is NOT game breaking.

If you disagree with me that's fine, but tell me why we should even give an incentive or penalty to anyone that needs to go AFK.. inside a house or not. And I mean a really damn good reason.
