A cloaker should not be able to use any other force powers while cloaked, especially force regen. They can stay perpetually cloaked. As cloak is, it is way too overpowering. I can track my bounty and as soon as I attack from range, he cloaks and is gone. The jedi then can force regen, pop a bunch of food and hit his Booster Blue... and I no longer have first strike capabilities. It was stated by the devs that what makes a BH able to be 1vs1 with a full temp Jedi is our first strike capabilities. If that is taken away from us... then what do we have?

Bottom line is... a Jedi should not be able to use force powers while cloaked.

Flame away.

Doing this is exploiting cloak I have reported it and it is easy to do, there is a drawback get them in aggro and they take damage as if they were not cloaked. The system has them invisible only graphically not literally like cloak works. I am hoping now though if they atack and stay cloaked the system will auto target them bypassing the inability to target manually.

If the devs fixed the bugs in the game, then the jedi couldn't exploit that tactic.

As cloak is, it is way too overpowering. I can track my bounty and as soon as I attack from range, he cloaks and is gone.

Your choice to attack from range and that is how you used the first-strike, one of your profession's advantages. Appears on this mark, it was a mistake.

The jedi then can force regen, pop a bunch of food and hit his Booster Blue... and I no longer have first strike capabilities.

As soon as I see an unfamiliar, blue dot on the radar, I pop my food/spice. You don't need cloak to do that.

It was stated by the devs that what makes a BH able to be 1vs1 with a full temp Jedi is our first strike capabilities. If that is taken away from us... then what do we have?

You still have first strike. In your case with that particular mark, you made the wrong opening move.

Bottom line is... a Jedi should not be able to use force powers while cloaked.

Then I guess Rifleman shouldn't be able to use sniper shot while under cover, MCH shouldn't use more than 1 pet at a time and down the list we start to go of telling profs they shouldn't use more than one skill at a time...

Flame away.

No need or point to flaming. You stated your points and I stated mine.

Well i guess that explains how i get killed by npc's while cloaked lol. I thought it was just a wierd bug where they could attack you lol. /shrug i have no clue how i'm doing it too lol.

Yes. It is an exploit because I know people that can reproduce this anytime they want. Maybe you should know what you are talking about before you post. A rifleman can only do a single attack while under cover. Their cover can be broken, cloak can not. Root is a completely different ability than cloak or cover so it doesn't even fit here.

I swear... it seems the Jedi profession is breeding morons. A smart Jedi will come in and leave a good reply and then he's followed by 5 idiots...

Maybe you should take your own advice. The bug that allows Jedi to attack while cloaked also allowsthe Jedi to be targeted and attacked.

Whaa! Want a blankie?

Cloak isn't overpowering, you just need to know how to attack them.

Wow... what a moron. First, you can't target a cloaked Jedi. Second, you can't attack a target if you can not get a target on them. Before you question my intelligence on how to fight a Jedi, maybe you should look at when I started playing the damn game. I've been a Bounty Hunter since August of '03.

Area attack. Use it when your in pvp fight and it can hit a cloaked jedi. Cloak doesn't last for ever. If you know the skill he was using "channel" Not force regenyou would know what I am talking about. Channel takes your health and replaces it with force. So if your a smart person, when fighting a cloak jedi in pvp, you can used the area attack and lower the jedis heal. Most likely if the jedi has cloak he/she isn't a MDef. Yes, there things where this might be true but it is veryunlikely. Please next time read upon it, before you start saying the jedi exploited because this is clearly not the case.

Now, when it comes to BH, move on if you can't fight him at that time, or drag him into a populated area. Force cloak drains force big time when there are multiply people in the area.

If your really worried about a known cloaker you can hit him with torso shot for the bleed dot. Keeps them from cloaking, but its alsoa weak first hit :/ If you do that as a cm, it nullifys paralyze, which blows because thats the best time (imo) to fire em up and debuff. Its a pain in the ass, but not much can be done. In my experience its made for some really close calls in fights. Dot's and root/snare/kd then hope for the best. If all else fails, follow him around cloaked for as much time as your willing to waste.
