Ive crafted a berserker at 82 sac, 887 max which is capped for both, with a powerup it turns out around 1000 with about the same min as most sabers.oh and the 887 max is about 150 points over a perfect saber.

i also think that the problem is the bh accuracy vs the jedi ranged def. if the accuracy is lower than the jedi defense you are hitting more towards min of your weapon which really hurts. but on a side note accuracy and def mods are buggy as hell and are sometimes not being calculated correctly. i ran through some tests with a jedi friend and i had higher accuracy then his defense and i was still hitting him for min on my weapon. this seems to be a pretty big problem and i would reccomend as many people test this as possible. and fyi the test was done before any foods or extra mods were added in, it was pure accuracy vs pure defense

The way PSGs work are they will reduce the damage by their reduction factor, THEN damage will be reduced by your armor.


1500 - 30% = 1050 Now minuse 50% for 6k on armor = 525.

I am not sure how Aura and Valor factor into this but i'm still sure that the PSG would do the damage midigation first and then everything else in their order.


Maybe you should get customer made Kenetic weapon for backup amnd

Use a FWG or a High Cap scatter gun.



Rumor has it there are devices that change kenetic weapons into engery guns. I wounder if the reverse is true.

No, they only block ranged energy damage.
On top of that, PSGs fail after they took too much damage and are not charged anymore.
On top of that, the problem is not the PSG (about 30% protection for a limited amount of time). The problem is Aura stacked with Jedi Innate Armor (meaning close to min damage inflicted, if hit at all, and then facing about 50% reduction). Which isnt a problem really because it is a Master Defender after all and not meant to be taken down in 15 seconds.
If you dont like PSGs, get a kinetic rifle - the LD-1 is almost comparable to a T-21 or ALR.

and as a side effect more Jedi will probibly go with defender so in the long run you'll be worse off than before.

Let me see if I have this straight.. you want to nerf already nerfed-half-to-death Jedi, because you don't feel BH's should be FotM'd. You think someone who has spent all those skillpoints and all that xp on Master Defender shouldn't actually be able to defend themselves against weapons that have the lowest SAC, because you don't want to learn how to manage your HAM costs. Did I get it right? Do I get a cookie?


If you think Jedi are way too powerful now, you should have tried taking one on pre-CU, before you respec'd to MBH.
