As a Jedi and MBH Alt all I can say is: LMAO!!!!

Seriously, learn to use your skills. I have a non-CM / Doc MBH Alt (ranged only) and I can take 1 out of 3 full templates. I do it by being prepared, equiping myself well and stalking for the first strike. Basicly, I wait for the moment the Jedi gives me, and take it. Get together with a good MBH on your server and have them show you how they do it.

First, MLS gets 25% Saber block, if 3 out of 10 shots are blocked, then that is pretty close to 25% within the limited sample of 10 shots, not 85% block.

Next, as far as misses go, what was your accuracy, did you have foods, buffs etc.

As far as taking damage, did you have /duelist stance active, high energy resist armor with armor break slice, again what kind of foods?

Also, if he had a crap saber he could not have hit you for 900 damage after all of your mitigation.

As far as damage go, did you have high accuracy to overcome his defenses, did you KD and do your max damage attack?

A lot of variables, but you give no information except getting beat.

i had duels stance running i had the best armour no armour break slice cant find a smuggler or the stuff to slice ittake a note


i had the best weapon 1200 max dam carbine 73 sac 320 dps

i had all the food i needed for the test

my accury with pyro is 510 ,300 with out ,my speed is 155 melee defence with food 340 ranged def 400 and doc buffs

it was a test to see what happened also when i said 85% saber block i ment to say it is just the same as with all the misses and blocks

it makes it up .



i used kd 1 in 5 hit and kd them, snare does not work or is it because he has force run


like i said it was a test to see the results

also how can we get frist strike if the jedi can see us coming from 250 meters this is are only time we can attack

its a bit point less if they no we are they dont you think.

i did use my best attacks and i did use kd

also when a jedi has a macro running his force armour and aura and valor running all the time dont you think it is pointless frist strike wont do crap




my armour was 7000 res to energy

i think i did good i do kill knights but very rare when you can catch them of guard which is never cos they have there stupid macro running all the time which no one can damage them.or there friends help them with offer ride exploit

Hmm....you say you can solo ancient krayts without any doc or cm, but you have trouble killing Jedi. Am I the only one that finds that hard to believe....

Get some 8k+ energy resist armor and armor break slice all of it, my 612-712 saber can only hit them for ~720 damage with powerhit while they areAB'd and bout 350 for other normal hits.

You my friend are a noob if youre getting one-shotted.

Oh and with aura up and 4440 defender adv snipershot hits me for 1780 damage....

Thank you tanks for pointing all this out to him..... Problem is, this is the type of bh that is doing the loudest screaming and calling for nerfs to jedi left and right. It's also the same type of playing on the GCW boards doing the yelling. People that dont understand the game, or their own profession for that matter calling for nerfs.

Sadly they are the majority of the player base posting on the SWG boards.

Valid points on both sides.... but here's my two cents.

- Because LS have very close min-max damage ranges, Duelistic stance makes only a small difference in the damage mitigated. I generaly prefer to simply do more damage in order to make my mark heal. I generaly only use duelsitic stance when I have been rooted or sabre armor broke, in the hope they will miss.

- High accuracy is great... but when they have the 500 pt bonus... it's pretty hard NOT to hit for min dam, when you do hit. Tested on 2 Jedi, one 220k, other 226k, a bonus of 40 acc points (crispic) does increases my damage by 15-16 pts per shot.

-Saber armor break vs root/snare (kiting in general) - They make my armor worthless, but I stay out of range a lot, seems mostly balanced, until I fight a MDef/MLS, and only a very few of my Roots stick (stick or not they still have a huge timer) KD or root on me, plus saber armor break, I heal and hope to stay alive.

Disclaimer.

I am a moderatly successfull BHer on shadowfire. I'm not saying I solo Knights all the time, but I get the bills paid with the first jedi I can find from 40-226k (so not that big a deal about pub 20 for me). However, some templates are MUCH more powerfull than others in the Jedi world. Some I have to wonder if they are only 1.5 times as powerfull, others (probably crafter/dancer jedi) I wonder if they are worth an eve 1 to 1 ratio.

BTW, Yes, I have a grocery cart for all my foods (the right ones... not ones that only last half the fight), stim Ds, Ruby bliel, badd a$$ scatter, and the best Pistols template I can create that is specifically geared toward Jedi, I have 8k resist armor, and I stalk my Jedi so that many times they tell me "where the hell did you come from?" So, I don't need any noob remarks. I am not complaining. Just sharing a few pieces of experience... and I hope they help.

Speaking asa swordsman-hybrid. Yes I'm hard to kill. No I'm not impossible to kill, as 1 BH has already proven. What differentiated him from the others though, is that I didn't see him coming from a mile away, that he knewexactly what he was doing and for once actually surprised me.
