...what kind of armor is 25mil...

What most BHs don't understand in vis, is that if you're on the terms, you'll just gain more vis. If a BH attacks you you gain more vis. If you know you're on the terms, you macro all your defenses and have your saber equipped all the time, that gives plenty of vis. I would not show off as a jedi in public if there wasn't a chance of a BH surprising me. Without a lot of defender innate armor all jedi would be a one shot kill if they didn't have their defenses turned on 24/7.

On to somehting more practical but still could be fun. I see no reason why when you kill a jedi you can't loot a replica of his saber off of his corpse for display in a house or whereever kinda of liike UOs ears, but heres the question what happens if a jedi wins. Does the bh loose something aswell. I think the most starwars woudl be a cyborgnetic arm that cost the price fo the jedi's mission to remove. Thus risk vs reward you could gain 226k or you coudl loose it.

That sounds great to me if the BH loses fit him with a handicapped Cyborg arm he has to pay to remove, maybe -10 ranged accuracy or something

How about you buy crystals for 750k each, plenty available, and hardly any loss if you do lose it , otherwise perhaps stay of the terms? Did your mother never warn you about keeping all your eggs in one basket, a back up lightsabre is a very handy idea, just ask Anakin sometime. Just as well some jedi thought to carry spares to lend him.

you are an idiot. do u have any idea what tuning is? if u think were gonna get good tunes out of a couple good crystals then your wrong. and that also goes for premiums. as some people went through 50 premiums to get the saber they have now.

rifles are weapons mainly used for powers users who do not use lightsabers. and still is not very effective as we have no ranged abilitys. you have a terrible idea and never will be put in the game

Did I say you HAD to go spending that money? and had to get good tunes. There is nothing stopping the Jedi going out and getting himself a second rate LS for normal use and keeping his good one for high end content. If he wants to use the overly expensive LS he takes the risk. No ones forcing anyone to do anything. If you want to be a power gamer showing of your skills at theed, then you would stand a chance to lose it.

I personally keep several sets of equipment, some for general NPC stuff, where Uberness is not required and another for high end content etc.

Sounds to me from the Jedi responses that this would be a great way to reduce the number of Jedi getting visibility.

ThisDOES NOTmean you WOULD lose your sabre, you can still stay of the terms you can still win a fight.

go and ask somone who dosnt have a Jedi toon how much fun the GCW is.

You wouldnt have a huge risk as you could choose not to use your best sbare and you could avoid getting vis.

Avoiding vis isn't as easy as you think.

Dear BHs... do you really want us to be able to use our jedi toon once in three weeks? Yes, I'm serious. In one pvp, pve, whatever event a jedi gets full vis, that takes 3 weeks to clear. You simply can't be serious. Would you be happy if you could only use your great overpowered BH toon once in three weeks?

Jedi was never meant to be an easy path, The game isnt supposed to be non stop bol slaughter with glow sticks. there are Jedi around who have managed to master without getting visiblity, all content in the game is doable without being a jedi, Ive known groups go through DWB without a single jedi, Ive seen none jedi soloing krayts. Jedi is a choice, how you play your jedi is your choice, and you ahve a free alt. I dont know about you but I love this game - without a lightsabre.

Because of course Jedi stand no chance of winning against BH, Jedi wouldunder the changes suggested be able to replace their weapons again. If BH were over powered I would find the game boring, personally I like a challenge I like to feel Ive accomplished something, If I wanted to feel uber I could take my bh down to the ME Newby spawns using spray shot all day long, but its not much fun, I prefer to know Ive taken some risk, To take on something and to come within a slither of loosing my life and decaying my equipment. Its more fun than having an "I win" button.

I understand its not easy, but it is possible. The reason Jedi are give an extra toon is so they can experience parts of the game the wouldnt be able to on their Jedi without getting vis. What punishing Jedi for getting vis would do would be to

1) Cause Jedi touse their alts for PVE quests ect

2) Make more room for standard elite professions in PVP

This cant be bad

I dicatate nothing, I am making a suggestion for adding a bit of fun to the game, you seem to think that perhaps I shouldnt be able to make such suggestions.

I have not at any point said you have to do anything, I have suggested a change to the game mechanics, they happen all the time, YOU choose your play style within the game mechanics, your choices have consequences. At the moment you CHOOSE to be a jedi you CHOOSE to get the vis with your Jedi, that wouldnt change, I am merely suggesting a change in the disincentive already on offer for jedi vsbh death A change which I believe is completely and fairly mitigated by the rewards I suggested.

I dont think I am the inventor of Player death in video games, or of consequences for death in video games.

Fun?? Fun for BH's, this would ruin the game for Jedi if we can't do anything on our Jedi char without the risk of us losing our lightsaber.
