Ive spent 12 million on knucklers, my 25 mil armour has lost 1/9 of its condition in one days hard content hunting. Credits in this game come easy, plenty of Jedi out there seem to find 100's of millions on ca's and flawless pearls etc. They have a free alt, with which they can make plenty of credits.
Over saturday \ sunday Ive used up 5 mil of equipment as consumables exclusing foods, no deaths just normal content. Why should Jedi be alone in not losing their good equipment. The whole idea of this is to discourage Jedi getting visibility.
The only Jedi who lose out will be those who are indescreet. Dont many Jedi have a couple of light sabres? Too many Jedi are far to arrogant, and duel with impunity in public places, this would be a big discouragement to such behaviour. If you cant behave with it the bounty hunters get to take it away. If you play smart you have no risk.
I dont think it would be long till the jedi started carrying cheapo sabres with them for regular use.
so everytime we die we need to spend 12 mill for an ADK and 20 mill for each pearl.
no we will never unless this stupid idea is put in the game.
and no, almost all of us only have one Lightsaber.

I think this is an excellent idea, getting another saber isnt going to be really that hard. Getting a high end sabre will be hard tho, which means people will have to be more careful when they use it. Its like my recon armour getting totally destroyed in no time at all, is it unfair that this is the only armour that I can wear so it shouldnt be destroyed. I think the Jedi would have to be far more careful about getting visibility, becasue at the moment there is no real reason for a full temp to avoid getting vis.
i dont think u know how low our damage is unless we get a "high end" saber.
They'd have to revamp vis. I never show off, but sometimes when I'm out killing critters people being idiots that they are drive right up to me. Jedi also get vis from all humanoid npcs.

I do, and I know that its not terrible, the suggestion is that premiums and flawless pearls are reintroduced so it wouldnt be that much of a problem.

That could work
It would be good if something were done to give even full temp Jedi risks so that they wouldnt be dancing around everywhere. Of course all the scholl kids wouldnt like it.

I got this Idea from General Grevious, I thought it added content to the game, and provided a very real incentive for Jedi to stay of the terms - out of sight of the general public. This would do far more to bring the jedi under control than xp loss.

How about you buy crystals for 750k each, plenty available, and hardly any loss if you do lose it , otherwise perhaps stay of the terms? Did your mother never warn you about keeping all your eggs in one basket, a back up lightsabre is a very handy idea, just ask Anakin sometime. Just as well some jedi thought to carry spares to lend him.
you are an idiot. do u have any idea what tuning is? if u think were gonna get good tunes out of a couple good crystals then your wrong. and that also goes for premiums. as some people went through 50 premiums to get the saber they have now.

rifles are weapons mainly used for powers users who do not use lightsabers. and still is not very effective as we have no ranged abilitys. you have a terrible idea and never will be put in the game
Did I say you HAD to go spending that money? and had to get good tunes. There is nothing stopping the Jedi going out and getting himself a second rate LS for normal use and keeping his good one for high end content. If he wants to use the overly expensive LS he takes the risk. No ones forcing anyone to do anything. If you want to be a power gamer showing of your skills at theed, then you would stand a chance to lose it.
I personally keep several sets of equipment, some for general NPC stuff, where Uberness is not required and another for high end content etc.
Sounds to me from the Jedi responses that this would be a great way to reduce the number of Jedi getting visibility.

if we have a huge risk of getting vis at full temp then the game is simply not fun for us.
