Dunno about you but this is my stocked laser carbine.

stockedlaser carbine is 108-414 - 35% dmg slice at 3.9 speed 57/74/51 - Ham's are high but just doing regular hits PvP is avg 100 - cripple shot 700 avg.

You're krayt laser is only better in speed.. but with my master and Bh carbine it makes up for it.

figured so.... that's not a Krayt made carbine - IT's A STOCKED LASER CARBINE <--- Require no tissues at that HAM's.

my laser is just a normal one, its 3.7 speed and somehting like 335 max dmg sliced.
my dxr6 is 149 dmg and sliced down to 2.6 speed or something like that.
hamcosts are average for carbines.

Who is your smith on chilastra, I have been looking for a good one. Right now it seems most smiths dont put much effort into carbines.

yeah, i would also like to know the name of the smith. If anyone is looking for the best wepsmith on chilastra i can say that it is descartes handsdown. Ive got weapons from him since the first few weeks when he was spending his days on rori. He is very busy but is never anything less than an absolute gentlemen and makes best weps ive seen.

EE3: 86-200 dmg 2.7 spd 38-31-18 HAM
DH17 Stub: 78-192 dmg 2.4 spd 27-29-15 HAM

they aren't sliced yet, so with powerups and slice they should be pretty good. No armor piercing but oh well, does that make a big diff in PvE ?

right now i use a 3.2 spd 326 damage carb -no pup for all around, but for those special times I now have a krayat e11 spd 1.7(got spd slice ) max dam 203, 269 w/pup ham is 18/33/12 on it i believe since the e11 is ap light it is like how a elite should be imho i manage to spam fa2 for 800-1200 a pop and can keep up with the heals due to the manageable ham costs. top it all off this weapon only needed one tissue to make only draw back is atm with my low acc i miss alot at make range

Being that I wasn't involved in the crafting processes other then handing over the tissue, I can't really comment on if the stats are a low fluke or not.

I'm sry to tell you... when using Krayt tissue - HAM'S don't go up. You can Trust all you want but I know a stocked laser carbine when I see one.

If you had a regular laser carbine with krayt tissue - you would've had the regular min. dmg but higher max dmg at lower speed. You got ripped off, sry to tell you this but HAM's are not affected by tissue at all.

A. It IS a stocked carbine, I said that in the orginal post.

B. I never claimed tissue raises HAM costs.

C. I didn't get ripped off, because I use the EXACT same weaponsmith others have praised from Chalistra, Descartes. He's a great person, fun to speak with and a consumate professional.

I'm unclear as to how this confusion has started. To reiterate:

The Carbine used 60 damage -.402 speed tissue (I am fuzzy on the speed, I may be wrong.)

The Carbine used a Stock and a Scope.

The Carbine was made with the best resources possiable, (since the smith doesnt use cut rate materials.)

The confusion started because the guy was trying to be a hero and uncover all the "fake krayts" by looking for tell-tall signs of increased HAMs due to using a stock instead of a tissue.

His mistake was not considering that it is possible to use a stock AND krayt tissue in the same gun.

He's just trying to help and got a bit overzealous.

I understand that the purpose was to be helpful, just really hate to see a great weaponsmith's reputation take a hit due to a misunderstanding.
