in the start Jedi could defend themselves very well but over the last several months one thing or the otherthey are about as good as every body else nothing special no reward for the risk.

First, the GCW comment is a blatant misguided lie. My main is a Jedi and I have NEVER participated in large scale operations which consisted of more then 5 players on my side as special forces. Jedi do NOT bellong in the battle ground of the GCW but they should be able to engage in it if they wish. The current system needs to eliminate the gap of Jedi being better in PvP although they need thier abiltiies to be strengthened in PvE.


I play for a challenge. The only reason why I go special forces is to run around while doing missions solo. I like the added threat/risk factor and there's a greater reward when escaping on a shuttle as 5 Imperial Rifleman are chasing you down.


Again, Jedi should be equals in PvP and the game is almost at that point.




I agree with you for the most part and it's not entirely the jedi players fault but their added powerjust for being what they arealong with some less than mature jedi players have for all intents and purposes put the PvP portion of the galactic civil war in an almost non-existent state. When it can be the most enjoyable part of the game as I've experienced it on test center for the CU. I would give up jedi hunting for a healthy and fun galactic civil war.

LOL.....as a person who has both aBounty Hunter and a Jedi I think this post is what is wrong with SWG. As a Jedi, and no one forces a toon into that path, you must except that type of existence. As a jedi you will be hunted by bounty hunters shouldyou become "visible". But also as a jedi you will be the most powerful fighters in the game. It is part of the choice that you MAY choose. As far as harrassing, it you are trying to suggest that being hunted by Bounty Hunters constitutes being harrased then you shouldnever have choosen thatlifestyle. Perhapes you are better suited to craft. I personally enjoy being confronted by a bounty hunter from time to time. I do believe that some bounty hunters do go to the extremes and do harrass jedi but merely hunting you is not harrassment. It is part of the game.

Don't get me wrong i think the guys that brag about how they can set low level guys back isharassment. i don't mind the hunting but the XP loss only hurts the casual gamer not the 10yo with nothing better to do.



By all means we want to encourage you to play your role, we just cannot allow that role-play to be done at another customer's expense.

Jedi that complain about bounty huntersareJedi that don't understand their role in the game. For the Jedi that is complaining here.. you knew the role would be tough, you knew XP loss could happen if you gain visability and lose toa bounty hunter. You decided to take that path knowing the risk.


If you don't like it.. you were provided with an alternate character to play on. Use it.

When people choose to be jedi it isn't like they didn't know that they were going to be hunted. It comes down to the fact that some people assumed that they would be hunted but that they would be more powerful. Well unfortunatly they are not. I do belive as others have said that some bounty hunters go to the extreme and grief players. Some just kill jedi to be a torn in their sides, but not all of us. You know the mindset of most jedi is flawed. You have to think about becoming a jedi as being a potential overt to bhs. It is a decided choice that if you want to be ajedi there will be dangers. Now that same choice is similar to participating in GCW pvp. You know by going overt you may die. If a member of the other faction kills me I don't cry grief. I could have easily not fought. It is just the way it is. Now jedi (not all jedi, only the big complainers), maybe they should stop whining about wanting to be the easy victor. There are far less gank squads (at least it isn't worth most people's time to try) there is no vis when jedi are grouped, and we don't even get to know the name of the jedi we are hunting or the difficulty. So now what else can jedi possibly complain about? What more do they want? Invincibility? Uberness should be earned through skill not grinding meaninglessly or through afk grinding, therefore, you need the proper skills to be an uber jedi and there are jedi out there who are uber. Just like there are uber bhs cause they can pvp really well.

I think I should take my real life experience and put it into the context of SWG. It appears you have the all terrible Jedi Complex as we like to call it. Not only do you not feel that you should be stronger which is an addition to your second free character, but you feel that you are superior because you can see spelling mistakes. My question is do you point out spelling errors in order to divert the attention of your real flaw, lack of a compelling argument. I bid you to post on your own forum. By the way I just noticed that there is indeed a spellcheck available so I will be sure to make everything I spell correct for you from now on. You know when some people aren't trying to draft and English 271w paper, they don't tend to care about spelling mistakes. An to imply that we are children or any less than you because of it is truly an indicator of your ego conflict, the only thing I wonder is how much more it could inflate.

I think my last mark hates me because I had my AT-ST chase her which scared the living crap out of her she didn't know wth to do but root me instead of my AT-ST and run into a pack of Imperials at the same time. LOL
