If we follow your untold reasoning, Rebel Special Forces attacking Imperial Special Forces while Imperial Special Forces are browsing the bazaar or hunting bols is harrassment (unwanted/unwelcomed behavior). What the rules you quote are not mentionning because it is too obvious, is that it is per game design that Jedi are hunted by BH. Just like Imperial SF are attackable by Rebel SF.

SF chose to fight so there is no harrassment (wanted/welcomed behavior).

It's the same with Jedi. Going Jedi and getting some visibility means you choose to be attackable by BH.

In my opinion all character templates should be able to be played completely PvE or PvP at the individuals option, not conditionally PvP as is currently the case with the Jedi profession. In the case of those of us who wish to be both Jedi and PvE only we may well feel from our perspective that the system allows us to be harassed with unwanted behavior.

Just like in the GCW there should be a way for all professions, especially now that Jedi are ever more common, to be truly neutral, not dependent on a conditional situationsuch asthe quasi-neutralstatusinherent in the visibilitysystem that is in place now.

One would hope that in such a large game world there is room for all play styles wherein Bounty Hunters canpursue players who wish to be part of the PvP element of the game just as the Bounty Hunter wishes to be a part of the PvP element of the game in pursuingthem.

I can't understand what you're saying. Can you re-explain please? I get the "have a nice day" its just the rest of the "jabber" before I don't understand.

lets see

have a nice day

The rate at which you type is not the problem. Its your effectiveness of getting your meaningless point across is what I am having a problem with. I am having a hard time understanding what you are saying. Exact copy one of the rules have a nice day?

It's also your tendency to want to hug trees or hold care bears that makes me a little irritated with you as well.

sorry never was really good at dealing with children i see you need a little help spelling

I am thinking since you stated something about spelling and you highlighted 3 different words in red you are trying to insinuate they are misspellings. Is this true? If it is ... please open a dictionary a make sure you are correct in correcting someone else.

When i run out of valid points or simply have no arguement anymore i'll resort to poking fun at someones mis-spellings because it makes me feel better. Like, you can't spell and i can. If you're not mis-spelling anything i'll make mom jokes and stuff.

errm...

no i really don't but, you know....i'm bored due to the lack of intelligent discussion to be found in the forums.

This only works if all combat profession are equally efficient in combat. Which is not the case at the moment. When there is an alpha class like Jedi, there needs to be a penalty attached to playing it. We can see that even with the current penalty, there are more and more Jedi. Which slowly makes the game less interesting (because less variety in characters you meet and interact with).

Ok i'll be constructive now.

The reason i believe Jedi hate BH and BH hate Jedi openly in the forums is because one"hater" doesn't have the other. Ignorance comes from not knowing any better. I don't have a jedi, but i don't have a closed mind. I love playing devils advocate when i can. When you see a Jedi posting about his BH, or vice versa, it's usually a non-biased post. Not all, but most. That's assuming the person in question can play both professions equally as well and understands the weakness of both prof's.

Suffice to sayplenty ofJedi with BH don't even bother posting, after all who wants to spend the time explaining something to someone who obviously doesn't have a clue, and unless you let them play on YOUR BH/JEDI, they won't be having a clue anytime soon.

So hate on!

Rules of Conduct

1. You may not harass or threaten other players (sexually, racially, or otherwise).

Harassment is defined as any unwanted or unwelcome behavior

8 You may not organize or be a member of any player association or groups within Star Wars Galaxies that is based on or espouses any racist

2. To expound upon the general guidelines, you may not harass other customers.

Harassment is defined as specifically targeting another player or group of players to harm or inconvenience them. Harassment can take many forms, as it goes to the state-of-mind of the person or group of persons on the receiving end of the action

3. You may not disrupt the normal playability of a game world area.

Area Disruption is defined as any activity, intentional or unintentional, which harms or inconveniences a larger number of players.

7. You may not abuse other players, customer service representatives, or the tools provided to request support.

8. "Roleplaying" does not grant license to violate these rules.

By all means we want to encourage you to play your role, we just cannot allow that role-play to be done at another customer's expense.

I kill Jedi dogsfor a living...is that so wrong.

I have to respectfully disagree with your interpretation of the "rules"...Don't make this out to be more than it is. Not everyone just likes to ride up and start blasting away. The Jedi have been cottled of the last few patches and I think it's time to quit complaining...You are Jedi and your job is to be killed by Bounty Hunters. We choose when, where, and how you will die. Stop complaining and cloak / FR3 like a real Jedi...I love the chase. Don't ruin the only content I have left in this game...YOU.

It's always a pleasure to meet a Jedi...

Killing a jedi is part of the game ... not an hurassment.

8 You may not organize or be a member of any player association or groups within Star Wars Galaxies that is based on or espouses any racist

Jedi is not a race.. it would be "classist", but to the general point. This was ment to stop things outside normal game play. As it is now jedi are the only non npc mission BH can take as such taking them is not any kind of "ism".

2. To expound upon the general guidelines, you may not harass other customers.

Jedi are not hurrassed ... again being hunted is part of their profession, as such not a hurrassment

3. You may not disrupt the normal playability of a game world area.

Jedi who say " I cannot do such and such" becuase of BH near by as such my group cannot is full of sh!t... Your group can continue and so can you... you choose not too because you are afraid of being killed by BH... again part of your profession.

7. You may not abuse other players, customer service representatives, or the tools provided to request support.

The is no abuse... it is part of game play for jedi to be hunted by BH.

8. "Roleplaying" does not grant license to violate these rules.

By all means we want to encourage you to play your role, we just cannot allow that role-play to be done at another customer's expense.

Instead of the same responce... I give you this... you are hurassing BH by this post and should be banned...

You are saying that BH playing his/ herrole is at your expense... well a BH not being able play his/ her role becauseJedi cannot handle what is part of thier profession, is the same thing...

I now feel

1) guilt

2) emotionally harmed

3) etc. etc.

All becuase your post targeted BH... you should be banned..

Nice post... realy????

It all comes down to the fact that you consent to play a Jedi before you unlock...thefore you consent to be hunted and lose xp. "Forced PvP" died with the TEF system when overts could nail coverts doing missions and stuff.

If you dont want to PvP, dont play your Jedi. Jedi is a PvP class and always will be.
