Thread: Regarding House-Jedi (Updated 10/14)
You cannot touch macros to change the house sitting 'problem' without it effecting other macro users. Center of being macros, bacta infusion macros, entertainer macros, doc buff macros, jedi aura/infusion/ect. I'm not talking about AFK macros but repeating macros that ATK players use. Personally, CoB and Bacta Infusion are on repeating macros during my fights, how about you? Touch macros and it will do more than do a minor change to house sitters.
I do agree with a prior post. Return jedi to the power and ability they once had AND return BH's ability to use groups to attack them. Granted, recent unlocks and low lvl paddies should be non-group bounties. But as they gain boxes and rank (with the eventual return of the FRS) allow a the BH to group another group member. With the CL system it wouldn't be hard. A lvl 80 knight would get a full group after them, but a lvl 50 paddy with few boxes would get a single BH with maybe one tag along.

i would think it to be possible to remove jedi from being on the terms if in a player house, yet also ensure they are not being rewarded for being a coward.

You give me back lightsaber damage and return Jedi to their former glory and you can hunt me with NON-JEDI groups All day long.
To be reasonable 2-3 should be the max. And they should All have at least Inv. 3 like pre-cu.
Hell, you could even put our names back on the board at Knight.
Give me back my power and bring your buddies. I'll buy that for a dollar!
It disgusts me that BHs feel they MUST compete with Jedi to be the biggest group of crybabies in the game.
This is about crying. If the Jedi you're tracking is in a house and won't come out, get another mission. Consider to to be like a mark that drowns in the Eastern Corellian Sea or something.

Seriously... don't give up.. something needs to be done with the people whom do it purposely to the BH and the many who dont support the idea is the majority who does it..

I think we should be able to get them out of the house, assuming we have a weapon that can cut through walls, like oh let's say, a lightsaber.
Ok, a more serious note...
Jedi are so low class in the game now, they are not much of a challange to fight anymore. This is not good, and if it makes them leave the game, then we are left hunting the same Jedi over and over. Already it is nuts that you seem to get the same freaking Jedi mission all the time.
Look at Jedi - we and the PVP crowd has gotten our way with them more than we realize.
They have crap armor, even a MD has less armor than we can get with our BHs, they have crap weapons, a great lightsaber is like 650 Max Damage, and can be used every 2 secs at the maximum, not including special attacks, since that speed is also bugged and not based on modified speed.
In contrast, my BH/Pistoleer/CM4xxx can fire a 948 kinetic pistol every second, hit them harder than they can hit me, if they can get close to me, and I can out heal them even with just 4xxx CM. Also if I watch my foods, I don't run out of Mind or Action, and they run out of force, no matter what they eat or do.
Oh, and don't forget their weapon is now energy, and our PSGs do a good job of protecting us from that in addition to good Armor, and if they wear a PSG, we aren't stuck with an energy weapon like they are, our kinetic weapons punch right through their PSGs.
I agree with the begining post, give our BH toons a way to know if they are in a house, doing something where they are protected.
Them being in a building that we can't get into is not out of the realm of realism, and is not a bad thing either - as they could be just hanging out with friends, having a guild meeting, decorating their house, who knows, etc.
However, we need a way to know they are not attackable or don't even put them on the terms if they are not outside a private structure.
Oh, and as for asking SOE to nerf the 'cloaking' Jedi, DON'T... Every time one profession gets another nerf, we soon get a follow up nerf to restore their idea of balance.
Instead of asking for cloaked Jedi to be nerfed, ask for a new ability for us instead. Maybe give us ability to see them, even though we can't attack them, we could follow them easier, and at least we would not get the cloaker attack surprise after we thought they ran off. Or let us know they are cloaked when our droid gives us the report on them from the biosignature.
Maybe just making the droid report more complete would be enough to keep our time from being wasted if we are serious hunters. Tell us if they are moving, in a private structure, cloaked, etc...
Maybe even a new ability from the droid that tells us a random bit of information on their template, so we can prepare better - not enouch we know they are not full templates so the crap BHs don't start the griefing again, but maybe tell us one tree or two they have or tell us a coupld of trees that they at least have one box in, so we have an idea what they are, or are working on.

I say just let us enter the house their in wether its private or not..... that would solve the problem...
rigging droids to tell us if their in structures or inactive is just pointless and a wast of a good droid...
