rigging droids to tell us if their in structures or inactive is just pointless and a wast of a good droid...
What I have to ask is why a house in this game is made PRIVATE to begin with. No one can take your stuff, only look at it. No one has anything that would be embarassing, since this is not an "Adult" rated game. What possible reason would someone have to "lock the door". Sure, someone could walk in on you if you are having a private conversation in spatial, but the solution there is make a chat room in the game or converse with an IM app, send tells, converse in Group...you get my point.
The solution to this 'issue' is to get rid of this private house farce that serves no real purpose.
some of these CU BH's are as bad as CU Jedi....
they want everything handed to them.
When I was a BH I had to walk 15 miles in the snow to camp my mark in his house!

Well things have happened to make there 'less of a reason' to have private structures (like not being able to look in other people's containers); however, there are still many legitimate reasons to keep private structures in the game, and I bet if you think really hard, you can figure this out for yourself.

Oh, and I forgot to add, the idea of removing a jedi's vis after killing a BH is so unthought out its just not funny. All the jedi then has to do is slip a BH that turns up with his mark 300k (or less really coz its no effort for the BH) to allow him to kill him, and then the jedi is vis free. It'd be like being back in the days with the guild BH taking down the guild jedi when their vis gets too high, and then rez'ing them to avoid xp loss. Silly idea, no offence guys.Plus, coz I know all you jedi love RPing ideas/end sarcasm. Say Mr. I'manimperialthatdoesntlikejedi puts money out for the head of the jedi he doesnt like, the jedi then kills ONE of the BHs that saw this advert for the jedi's head. The other BHs would not pull off from attacking the jedi, nor would Mr. I'manimperialthatdoesntlikejedi withdraw his bounty, would he?
I agree, removing vis from killing a bh makes no sense, If I kill a BH I would expect more vis. Basically think of a real life situation with a bounty hunter or even the police etc, if they come for you and you kill 1, they will be after you a lot more than before. They come again and you kill another they will really have it in for you.The house thing I disagree with, we should be safe in our house regardless, as long as we break the tef we should be free to enter and craft, logout, whatever.
Its our house, why should you get temporary access to get us from it, if its set to private too bad. If we escape and make it into a private house after we lost the TEF then we win, deal with it and move on to next target.
The only thing you don't seem to know. Is that the visbility system is currently broken and visibility is NOT usually removed upon a Jedi death from a BH.
That is why you see the same people on the terminal, and just assume they are arrogant to go back and get visibility. - I know people that have been killed, logged out, and still was at the top of the visibilty pages at the BH terminal the second they logged in.
This was a major issue when names were still shown on terminals, and is STILL BROKEN.
So you actually have what you wish for, although it is considered a bug that has not been fixed since the CU.
(So next time see someone as being an arrogant Jedi just keeping their visibility up, they might not be.)
Also case in point, my Jedi gets tons of visiblity, and I have seen only a couple of BHs in months.
Yept it makes no sense unless they are using SOE math for visibility. Pre-Cu, Visibility was easy, Jedi had a good idea if they were on on the terms and how popular, post CU, missions don't clear visiblity, even BH's getting killed sometimes still keep their mission - again another bug although not as frequent, but have recently seen it.
