IamCadan reported that you have to Tab to find the target. Would be the only way to locate, once you're in range of the seeker droid waypoint.

If this goes live we must have element of surprise---therefore

PLEASE FIX THE /DUEL EXPLOIT JEDI USE TO DETERMINE IF WE HAVE THIER MISSION before Pub20 goes live

Right now you can 1) get info from friends about which Jedi are in which kashinstance, 2) look on the forums where BHs are sharing info about who is where on the trails, 3) go through the trails yourself and make a list of which Jedi are where.

Under the new system, even if you know where a Jedi is you won't be able to pull their mission. This completely cuts out any chance for any real investigative work. It's droids or nothing -- and droids don't work on Kash.

The notes in the In Testing-Dev Forum state that Jedi can only be on the terms if online. They can go offline *after* you take the mission, but if they are on the term, they are online. The terms will list the Jedi's faction: Imperial, Rebel, Neutral. Payouts will be random amount from 45k-52k with a bonus payout upon completion calculated based on the Jedi's level (not sure yet if this is CL or SP spent).

As of this post, I am unable to locate any feedback regarding when or if the BH ever gets the name of their mark, so I think that needs to be left alone until we know more.

I like these changes. It takes out the cash cow that was BH hunting. Combined with the mission move to MBH, makes MBH more valuable and dumps the people who called themselves BH when they only had 3/14 boxes in the profession. As long as the BH gets the name of the mark from either SpyNet or Probot, all will be well.

I can tell you that at no point is the mark's name ever revealed. Not until you can hit tab and target him. I posted my info in the TC-Bloodfin here on the BH forum. And the total payout I received for killing my mark was 226k and she was a double mastery - so there is no real change there.

I'm going to be on TC-Bloodfin again tonight with my jedi this time and I'm going to test Kash. We'll see if a BH comes for me there. I imagine I should be able to arrange a BH visit.

I am liking the "seeker giving us the name" idea more and more. I have a list of alternative as part of my sig. These ideas prevent the current griefing that jedi get plus we still get a name.

Geeze with all this posting about getting their names, I feel like some sort of washington lobyist! Except I dont feel as evil

Thats the forum game for you, doesn't help if the devs aren't receptive though.

Auraboron, I am guessing you still have SOE's ear to some degree. Are they aware of the reasons we want the names still? Also there are some alternatives to "not getting the name at all" such as the ones I have listed below. I am on a small server and I just want to make sure I dont go off on a mission just to meet up with a friend of mine or something else that makes me cancel the mission. There are several ways we can get a name yet have it where greifing jedi is no longer possible. The devs and jedi get what they want and we get what we want. Everybody is happy and the issue dies. Im sure not everyone will be happy but this is probably the best bet to get a majority on board with the changes.

i honestly dont like that change, caus ei want to know weather im hunting a friend or not
