Your proposed fixes are all crap, that'll probably lead to greater exploits.
Thank you for the insight
Do you have any ideas to share?
Personally, removing recursive macros is the way to go.
No need to change the code for terminals or seekers for people in structures then (the major issue of course is the potential difficulty in getting a basic insp. buff if entertainers have to be atk). If they are decorating, or chatting to their guildies, or taking a leak for 5mins, no problems. The play the game, let them play. THe BH dynamic isn't altered, only the necessary mindset of the BH - i.e. do I want a fast hit or do I want to actually play a hunter?
A bounty hunter should hunt after all. It's why we get 'stalker' as a possible title.

If a jedi is chronically house sitting then they are a "weak" mark and you are picking on someone lower than yourself. (lower in fighting abilities that is, no one gets lower than us lowlife bounty hunters)
. Seriously, there are plenty of jedi out there who welcome the fight. Some they win, some they lose, but they go on about their business and fight when the fight comes to them. Jedi are no different than any other player in the fact that they wish to have a fun time playing a game they pay money for monthly. To my knowledge it is easier to go force sensitive now, but you couldn't respec into jedi padawan as many respeced into MBH. I'll admit, i did a small ammount of respecing, but I was bh3444 before respec with all the apprentice points needed to go master and halfway to invest 4 when the great respec hit. I used respec to drop the scout and marksman skills i no longer needed to maintain bh and used them to pick up a few more ch skills to master that. But i would like to know if the ppl complaining about house sitters are respeced bh or old school.
Every player needs to have a safe haven. Kinda like a "Highlander"holy ground. Snipers wait for days in the jungle to catch their targets when least expecting, follow your mark, learn their habits, and take em out with craftsmanship. If you're lookin for the quick kill there are npc's out there. Leave the house sitters alone, and find a jedi worthy of the hunt.

The ones complaining are the Respec BH, They think its hard because there jedi mark is in a house, what about when droids didn't work? Now that was hard, much harder then this.
But Respec BH's want everything handed to them

Don't generalise.
I dont need to. its true. Look at you guy making the BH professsion look foolish, Pre-CU no one would have thought of asking this

from what i remember BH grumbled just as much before the CU as they did after. plus the CU respec period was 6 months ago so the whole respec n00b jibe doesn't really hold much water anymore.
Nobody's complaining about a legitimately jedi being in their house, the discussion is about what to do with Jedi who leave thier toon on all day just to annoy BHs.
IMO this isn't a particularly important issue, if your probe's wp doesn't move and when you get there the mark is in a private structure just drop the mission.

Drop the mission. Solved.
This crusade is such a waste of time and effort. Not to mention it makes us look rediculous.

actually it was. GWB got so fed up because he was being pwned at every corner in PVP and he didnt get crap in PVE. He whined and complained so much that Colin Powell told him to either **edit** or invade Iraq for the oil so that he could have more money to sway the Devs of SOE and Lucas Arts.

So you are personally knowledgable about every BH on every server are you? Let me just get a dictionary for the definition of 'foolish'.
Why does everyone blame everything on the CU? Beforethe CU people complained rather a lot about 85% saber block, or do you forget that? But then how would I know, because I think afk in house all day Jedi is an issue, which means I must be a re-spec and that the date I joined (as seen on the left)15months ago and starting BHing soon after must be a lie?
Idiot. You'll be saying the war in Iraq was the fault of the CU next.

ROFL
After reading this long thread i find miyself wondering if anyone has remembered that being a Jedi makes you an Outlaw to the Empire. It is Vadar himself who took the mission of exterminating the Jedi and those that have the Force within them.
SO my two credits worth would be that the AFK and greedy jedi who feel the need to sit around there houses looking at there pretty stuff or the ones who demand that they must have a safe place to craft etc.... should face the Imperial forces when they have made the terminals.
Solution #1 when a Jedi who has been active enough to get on the terminals stays in one place for lets just say two hours; he will be forced to deal with Vadar himself coming in to balance the force.
Solution #2 When these afk'rs have had there tags up for again lets say 2 hours they will deal with force penalties such as a drain of their precious Force points and/or a reduction in the regeneration rates.
I realize that honor is not a requirement of the players of SWG, but it was always part of the character of a true jedi. Vadar is out there and I don't think he ever stopped looking til his end.

Before anyone makes any further comments like this, I would suggest keeping in mind the following points.
1. This is a game, not real life. If you want to push the argument that we are outlaws in Star Wars and a Bounty Hunter would kick the door down in real life. Then a Jedi should be able to cut your head off with 1 swing of a Lightsaber just like Mace Windu did. Or fry you to a crisp as the Emperor does.
Now as you can see, any references to "what would happen in real life" have no standing in a game such as this. Certain real life comparisons need to be discarded in order to accomodate the nature, concepts, issues and limitations that a game brings to the table.
2. Everything except crafting and killing non humanoid creatures from city mission terminals generate visibility. Thats an extremely limited scope of content if a Jedi should want to stay off the terminals. So any argument about "you got on the terminals so deal with it" won't fly I'm afraid. If staying off the terminals should be a way of playing, then Jedi need things to do that are fun, exciting and don't generate visibility - which currently is impossible.
3. You are not dealing with NPC's here. These are other players and as such, certain limitations need to be in effect in order to deliver what can be considered a fair and fun game experience for those people.
