Removing these prerequizits is opening up a TON of options for you guys, but thats not good enough for you!
Be thankful for what your getting, because its a whole lot more than what Smugglers, Rangers and Squadleaders are getting any time soon!

This guy is a whiner, yes...BUT...our profession has been ignored, and stealth nerfed since launch...if you don't understand WHY the entire bounty hunter community is in an uproar shut the hll up...Immediately my ass...we have been VERY patient since launch...hoping for the same love we saw all other professions get...then we THINK we are getting love for once with Jedi missions...but they were broken from the get go and now they are getting NERFED again...due to an "error" made by a part of the dev team...figure it out genius, we are beyond frustrated...and to top it all off, the weapon switch timer NERFED our specials...Whiners?!? We are the only profession that has been almost CONSISTENTLY nerfed every single patch since launch...we are justified in our outrage...and this cookie they are giving us...at least most of us want it...and are happy for it...but it still doesn't change the myriad of things still broken in our profession.

You can pick up alot yes. But you cannot master it, which lowers its usefullness alot in the light of such things as greater accuracy from carbine/pistol lines.

This is something that we have been considering for a long time, and wanted to do as part of the CB, but we need you to be as effective as possible against Jedi as soon as possible. This is a start.
Your other issues are known, and in varying stages of development, but we want you to know that things are going to get better. Hopefully rapidly.
This change will be hitting Test Center tomorrow afternoon, and should be Live by Friday.

1. Development team actually listen to what Bounty Hunters have to say for one. - As a fansite owner/Community Leader(www.swgbounties.com) I would love to see the devs stop by my commnuity and hopefully have an intelligent conversation with the Hardcore Bounty Hunters that reside there. Also, I would like a contact that I can directly forward issues over to when my members are reporting problems. Obviously the official forums are not the most effective way of reporting problems and neither is the /bug command. We Bounty Hunters have been /bugging since beta days and nothing productive has come out of it.
2. Fix the bugs that we have been reporting since beta. - Missing/Invisible marks, Marks spawning in walls, rocks and trees, Droids cuausing crashes.
3. Damn right this is a start... But keep in mind we don't want a bandage. Our class needs a serious overhaul. - Reducing the number of Skill Points it takes to be an MBH is not what we want. Again, this is where the devs can start listing to the people. Just fine tune the profession, add more offensive skills and definatley add more defensive skills. If you do go with the reduction of skill points then please MOVE JEDI HUNTING TO MASTER. With more skill points free and Jedi hunting at Investigation 3 there will be a major influx of dabblers giving the Jedi even more of a reason to whine about being hunted by Hunters.
4. Scale mission payouts based on the level/skill set of the Jedi. - Reducing experience and payout was not the way to go... Gradually increasing mission payouts will keep the higher level Hunters to seek out the tougher Jedi and lower level hunters seeking out lower level Jedi.
5. Listen to the community and the fan sites out there... We are doing SWG a favor out of our love for the game. I spend my own money and time to offer the SWG Bounty Hunters a place to go to have intelligent discussions about our profession. The least you (devs) could do is swing by, or even email, every now and then to update and let us know what you have in store for our profession.
Many of us have been playing since release and our only desires have been to be Bounty Hunters. I for one have Masterd the Bounty Hunter profession TWO times and have dropped it both time because of all the problems. I will be Mastering Bounty Hunter for the THIRD time once I see an overhaul or tweaking of the Profession. If I'm happy with the changes then I'll stick around and if I'm not then I'm dropping this game and any Verant/Sony and Lucasarts product.

That was hurting my fragile eyes. Berg, this is a done deal. That is what JustG is telling us, he is asking for things we can get by Friday. So lets push for FS hunting at MBH only and bring the payouts back where they belong. We can protest until the cows come home, but it is what it is, ya know?
