Please keep posting Jargal i havent had a laugh like this in ages.
Why is "its my free tim to spend how i like" argument nul, that is one (among many) reason that contradicts your comments.
There are no words that can explain how i think about you.

Most ppl seem to agree there should be a auto timer to logoff after an hour or so. So far theres no good arguments for being able to stay AFK in a house for hours. All 'its my free will to sit in my house' - arguments are null. If you aint at home or by your keyboard you wont have any joy of the housesitting anyway...its all to mess up several BH missions.
The AFK timer would make things easier for BHs and for jedis too, since it would take some tention off the hunting. We dont need any more hostile harassments in this game.
Be a good sport and logoff, if your not playing.

No, you might not be the next top diplomat from our country Jargal. But you sure make your point and stick to it!
The fact is, you have a point! It basicly comes down to afk-gameplay. Wether you´re doing the "it´s so annoying to actually have to start the game to play", the "lazy afk-grindpath to jedi" or the "lets see how the BH´s like me hiding in my house for 3 weeks!" version of afk-playing doesnt matter. Your character shouldnt be in the galaxy if noone is playing him/her. You´re wasting server capacity, contributing to just a tad more lag in some spots...
I can see how some players do helpful things with their afk-buffers, afk-entertainers etc. And sure, you´re being helpful....unless you ask the person who is actually playing his doctor or dancer atk. They are getting robbed of business due to afkérs.
Same thing goes for macros during combat. If it was up to me, all macros would break upon engaging in combat. It sure would make fights more interesting. And I´m not only talking about jedi vs BH....
But now I´m kinda straying of course here.....The point is......I dont know......did I have a point?
Yeah, Jargal is basicly right. No matter if you like the way he´s saying it or not. His ideas are sound.....to me at least. Does that make me less sensible?
If you agree with him then your both prats.
Jedi dont do the boring grind so that some whiney cry baby can break into there house.

i got into : 85% saberblock, 55% damage reduction with m.ls, a faster forcerun, no nerfed force speed, no nerfed AI, and unresisted damage. that was worth the risk.
Point being, is that I can enjoy PvE or PvP with a Jedi. It's my choice to do so. If I feel like fighting I will. If I don't, I won't. The risk of attack was my choice. Coming after me was yours.

But tell me, how does the fact of a jedi being AFK for hours / days inside a private house just to piss off bounty hunters help the said jedi? It doesn't put the BHs away from him, it just generates more hatred and aggravates the situation between BHs a Jedi.
This kind of friction is what makes the BHs hate the Jedi. It's their elitist, arrogant and childish attitude (I'm by no means implying all Jedi are like this, but many of the jedi I met are like that).
Also there are childish Bounty Hunters, there are bouty hunters that send hate tells. It's not only the Jedi. Those bounty hunters should at least try to show some respect for their peers.
Or at least do what I do - treat them with respect untill they do something to stop deserving that respect (aka, flame you, etc).

Sounds like you dont like being hunted.....maybe dancer would fit you better? Being hunted comes with being a jedi, surely that cannot be a surprise to you? If you wanna do quests without being hunted, log on your alt! How f-ing hard is this to understand? You have a choice, even after you have your jedi, you can still play without being hunted. But as soon as you´re playing your jedi, you agree to being hunted. You ARE in fact BH´s content wether you like it or not! And you know what else? Here it comes again.....YOU CHOSE to be the content of BH´s.
So while the bh community is playing the game as intended, you´re just online wasting time and bandwidth. Get over yourself!
Name any content/Queststhat a Jedi can do and that does not give VIS or involve killing mindless animals!
BH have loads of content without Jedi!

From the jedi perspective, that is all that the BH profession is, a waste of thier time. So are you suggesting the removal or change to the the BH profession because "it's dumb" and wasting peoples time?
