I make credits as a master bh, out of 10 jedi missions I had 2 house sitting, I ride up send a tell, hey you wanna come put and play, if I get the afk message or no repsonse, I move on, the more time I waste with some one that does not want to play, the more credits I am losing, I understand that having the jedi bounty, is not a givien if the jedi does not want to fight, oh well, as you know there days when the terminal has page after page of jedi's why waste time.. there are plenty to go hunt.

Another thing I dobelieve that doing away with the exp loss would have more jedi out fighting, besides that the exp loss has no purpose at this point in the game, it was never desined to control the jedi population, It was designed back when names were on the terminals that 2 friends a bh/jedi could not keep pulling the friends missionsand doing it over and over again for the the 200k plus credits a shot,lets face if folks, 2/3 off all the people that buy the game wanna be a jedi, even if it is kinda against the timeline, soe is out to make money, they are not going bite the hand that feeds them, plus I don't think they can handle many more mass account closings.

I would love to see the time line moved to years after ep 6 wide open new sw content, the ideas could be endless.

Sounds like you dont like being hunted.....maybe dancer would fit you better? Being hunted comes with being a jedi, surely that cannot be a surprise to you? If you wanna do quests without being hunted, log on your alt! How f-ing hard is this to understand? You have a choice, even after you have your jedi, you can still play without being hunted. But as soon as you´re playing your jedi, you agree to being hunted. You ARE in fact BH´s content wether you like it or not! And you know what else? Here it comes again.....YOU CHOSE to be the content of BH´s.

So while the bh community is playing the game as intended, you´re just online wasting time and bandwidth. Get over yourself!

True we do choose to be hunted when we get Jedi, but and it's a big but we get to choose what we do with our game time as well and if we want to admire the insides of our house. I will also say that being in our houses we are playing the game as intended otherwise there wouldn't be player housing

You are correct. You are allowed to do whatever you want with your gametime. At least as long as you´re not griefing, harrassing, exploiting etc etc. And to admire the inside of your house is also ok. But that wouldn´t be done afk, would it? I decorate my house...sometimes I spend an hour in it or more. But I sure as hell aint afk while doing it. Do I ever go afk? Of course...dinner, walk the dog etc. But if I´m going away for more than 30 minutes or so, I log off.

When someone openly confess that he/she is only leaving their jedi online, afk, doing some pointless macro...then I consider it to be a kind of harrassment. A passive kind...but still an harrassment. That person is doing it for the sole purpose of ruining others gameplay. And that´s pretty close to the textbook version of harrassment, isnt it? (BTW, I have no clue about if I´m spelling harrasment correct)

I will stand up here and confess "I leave my Jedi logged in and afk for sometimes up to 2 hours" there you go. However I am not doing this with the intention of ruining another person gameplay (although how is it really ruining anyone gameplay, it's not as if once you have the mission it is locked into your datapad until you fail or complete).

You may consider it is harrassment that is your view as a player, but until it is stated by the Devs that sitting afk in your house is actually harrassment, then it isn't. If they ever do state that it is harrassment, an exploit etc well then thats the day when you know that the Devs have finally lost the plot

oh and I could admire my house while not at the keyboard, I could have my monitor as a fancy picture frame in which I display my house on, not being at keyboard doesn't mean that you are not in the vicinity of your pc (not that I do this but it could be done)

You all too knew what you were getting into also by taking bh as profession and must deal with the fact that not ALL jedi are pvpers and not all players in this game should have to play the way other people want them to play, just because you want to hunt jedi and kill them does not mean that every jedi in the game should do what you would like them to do and stay out of houses, etc.

This has been an ongoing issue ever since bh were able to hunt jedi and it will always be an issue. Just because a player who pays for his account therefore should be able to play like he wants( without exploiting mind you ) and if he/she does not want to pvp and stay pve then yes all they have to do is be careful and not get vis but its hard to do but doable nonetheless, but they should have the option to run and hide if they can get away then you arent doing your job well enuff, no disrespect meant at all, if you truely want to kill jedi then a bh best friend is off guard and surprise attacks when the jedi least expects it, which im sure you know.

Its all about choice people, you chose to pursue the jedi who is afk or goes and hides in house, instead of dropping the mission and going after another one YOU GUYS chose to stand around and wait etc. If you chose to hunt jedi then you must be ready to deal with these things, same as if players chose to be jedi, then they must accept the fact that they may possibly get killed by bh, be hunted by bh at anytime, provided they have vis. Choice is a powerful tool we all have and its up to us as to how we chose to play or not play, hunt or be hunted, or more simply put drop the mission if ya dont like what the mark is doing, easier said then done i know, im bh myself but man people need to drop this issue and get on with life plain and simple.

I was just about to ask you to reread my post, but reread it myself first. I withheld a little there that should have been included. When I said that I consider people who leave their character online for hours harrassers....I meant then ones that do this and confess to doing it solely to piss off bh´s. With the current system you can be afk for as long as you want. But I´d really like to see a timer implemented. Something like an auto logoff after an hour or so.

Yeah thats fair enough and you put it in a sensible way unlike Jargal, tbh the only reason I used a macro to keep me online is to save me the hassle of logging off then logging on again all the time, and the fact that if you don't not have a macro going and you get auto logged out you have to restart the whole game up again (well at least that always happens to me). If the Devs managed to get that issue sorted I would just walk away from my pc and not bother if my toon is gonna get logged off

Space hunting and forced landing is the best thing this noob Jedi who doesn't want to fight but does get off on the chase. As far as house hiding, leave it alone, I personally have to drop a house and go afk for 5 min here 10 min there cause I have children and they have needs. You say you want a fair fight, the only fair fight is a duel. It has been my experience that most BH, or all except for 1 that have hunted me just want to go head to head. While that can be fun, it seems most will not hunt the Jedi once they blow their "First Strike". Thats right I am an about to be nerfed Powers Jedi who cloaks and runs, I personally enjoy the cat and mouse part of this, and yes the 1 BH who didn't drop mission as soon as I cloaked was able to outsmart me and beat me to a destination and force me to fight, and after 10 min, 2 incapps and for me at least a tripleing of my heart rate I was able to cloak again and escape to a friends house. Now alot of you guys have cried so much about this that an entire subprofession of jedi is going to be broken. All I can say is good job noobs, try taking BH lessons from good BH who use smarts over uber sliced rewards and very unbalanced MCM skills. I admit cloak has some bugs, none of which have anything to do with BH. I was Mbh/carbs pre pub 9 and if you think that current BH vrs Jedi is gamebreaking then just keep asking for devs to make it easier for you, cause it has become plainly obvious that the decision making Devs must play the game and all have BH. The worst nerf I have seen to BH in a long time was terms, and honestly that wasn't a profession breaker.

Which is why i use the word exploit. I dont know how the offline thing works for a Jedi's alt.. How long will it let you stay AFK with no macro when your not doing anything?

Lets see, darkstarra and jargal both say that jedi were put in to be the bh content. They further state that its not griefing or harrassing when they use the rules that the devs put into place to allow them to hunt and kill jedi causing jedi to lose xp. Granted with the new grouping, gaining xp is quite easy in todays gameset, but prior to the cu it wasnt quite so easy. Ok I can accept this, dont particularly agree with it, but ok.

Now lets see, devs put a recursive macro system into place that allows me to macro stayonline for hours on end. This was put into place to allow me to do just what im doing, staying online. So, in essence im not breaking the rules by staying online. A bh now comes to hunt me, I can not possible be harrassing or exploiting to them because im following rules put inplace by the devs. You as a bh may not agree with it, may not like it, and quite frankly we know these 2 think its wrong, but in factual reality, no rules were broken and you just need to move on.

So in summary, if I stay online and cause the bh to not succeed, I have done what the devs have wanted me to do, caused the bh to fail. I say this because its my job to stay alive, which ive done. ITs your job to kill me, which you cant so you lose.

Again, you may not like it, and thats fine, but its not your place to dictate to me or any other player, be it jedi, chef or master merchant that they must log out and not be afk in game. Whether it might interfer with your content because you cant kill me is pointless argument. You infact do interefer with a jedi's content when you hunt and kill them. Yes a jedi's life is hard, ive been hunted many times in game, im 4 5 and 1. I can hold my own, but I just find it more entertaining to play a jedi the way I do. Quite frankly, these days thats about all my jedi is good for. No im not going to respec him out of jedi, for the shear fact that I worked hard to get him to a full template and someday I hope that the devs will bring the FRS back and then the 1.5 stronger will actually be there.

So, you might as well get used to it and just move on. By the way, I dont do this very often, as you might be assuming I do from my prev posts, but when I do, then I do it for this reason. IM so sick of whiners crying because 1 im either to strong or 2, because I chose not to fight when they want me too, that is just fun to do this. Part of the reason I play the game is to have fun, and if I have fun doing something, that is well within the rules, then iveused my 14.99for a good purpose.

Most ppl seem to agree there should be a auto timer to logoff after an hour or so. So far theres no good arguments for being able to stay AFK in a house for hours. All 'its my free will to sit in my house' - arguments are null. If you aint at home or by your keyboard you wont have any joy of the housesitting anyway...its all to mess up several BH missions.

The AFK timer would make things easier for BHs and for jedis too, since it would take some tention off the hunting. We dont need any more hostile harassments in this game.
