Thread: im really getting tired of the /duel exploit
Im a new jedi now, and as a MBH i never complaigned about the Duel exploit, but i always laughed when a wondering jedi would duel /endduel me lol. I thought it was quite halarious.
..and now that i am a new jedi, i have not yet tried the /duel /endduel exploit, maybe i should do it just for fun sometime =)
...honestly, the only reason why i dont use the duel exploit when im grinding and see a dot off in the distance...is because i just assume he is for me. there is no need to confirm this with the duel end duel, i just know he is for me hahahah
i haven't been hunted yet though honestly =)

just the other day i was going through dantooine, minding my own business, and out of no were i get the /duel /endduel message, so i /tell the guy "hey you know thats a exploit dont you, he /tells me back says you know now ones gives a $hit dont you.... its just prof that they know they can use exsploits and can get away with it.
Im really getting tired of you lame BH complaining about exploits when they are not to your advantage, but you clearly have ABSOLUTLY NO PROBLEM using exploits when it is to your advantage. You cant have it both ways. If you are so weak that you cant take out your target then you shouldnt be a BH. You choose to be a BH live with your choice or re-grind

I don't use exploits and saying that all bounty hunters exploit is completely ignorant, stupid, and unfair. And saying that I don't have the right to complain about people who do use exploits because some bounty hunters cheat is even more ignorant, more stupid, and more unfair.
You want an advantage from knowing if a BH has your mission or not? Moenia. Cloaked gank squad SF Jedi challenges me to a duel. If I have his mission and keep hanging around, he stays cloaked. If I don't have his mission, he knows there's nothing I can do to stop him. That's an extremely unfair advantage that has nothing to do withnot being "sneaky enough" since I didn't even have his mission.
And guess what? I'm not a MCM. I don't have any poisons. I couldn't poison a cloaked Jedi even if I wanted to. I hate the duel exploit. I don't use exploits. None of the reasons you give to stop complaining about it apply to me. I don't care if there are bounty hunters who exploit, an exploit is an exploit. So kindly shut up.
I've never needed the /duel exploit to know if a BH has my mission.
Everyone is a BH until otherwise proven innocent. I assume that anyone who comes near me while grinding is a BH and he's got my mission. /Duel; /endduel would be a hinderance, because then the BH would KNOW that I know. I've killed a few BH's who thought I was unprepared because I didn't move as they came up on me.
Given that I don't hang out in populated areas....period, my paranoia works well for me.

1. There is an unfair advantage in knowing whether or not someone has their mission. Yes, there is even an advantage in knowing that someone doesn't have your mission.
2. It's really, really annoying getting spammed with "(Insert exploiter's name here) challenges you to a duel." messagewhen (Insert exploiter's name here) immediately cancels the challenge, especially when it happens three or four times in ten seconds.
3. It's an exploit. Using an exploit is cheating. Using an exploit can get a player banned.

Either (1) you've watched every single bounty hunter loss ever to be able to say that with certainty or (2) you're a total and complete idiot. Ironically, the only time we even know the duel exploit is being used is when we're not in a fight.
Bounty Hunter = cry. Is it an ability you get with Master BH? If not maybe the devs should add it for you.
You could get Master Cry when you reach master BH. any time you use it on a jedi, it will immediatly drown the jedi in your tears and allow you to DB the jedi. Since its obviouse none of you that posted here can actually collect a bounty on your jedi.

You either have absolutely no clue whatsoever about what is being discussed here at all or you're one of the Jedi who uses the duel exploit and can't stand the thought of your precious bannable cheat being taken away. The duel exploit has absolutely nothing to do with anything once the fight actually started.

The duel thing is silly...and annoying, but I've never had it interfere with game play. Just be sneaky. That's all. I've stalked marks for an hour, within eye sight the whole time...just pretend to be looking at vendors or something...but it's not game breaking. If you're walking up to them and getting their attention to the point they wanna "duel exploit" you, you've already lost the element of surprise. So please stop whining.
This is starting to sound like the Jedi forum.
