1) If you use a seeker in either "one-use" (now renamed "Seek Bounty Target") or "infinite use" (now renamed "Track Bounty Target" but still bugged and giving infinite uses) and target is not on world you get the "off-world" message as before.

I'll look to see why the Track mode doesnt consume a droid.

Thanks, I know alot of DE's who would love to get that fixed (including me)

2) If you use an arakyd (actual droid now renamed "Arakyd Probot", not "Imperial probot" and the option to call is now "Request probe droid" with no sub-menu) then you get the planet, but no name.

Did it bug anyone else for 2 years it said "imperial probot base", and had 2 menu options that did the same thing? Cleaned it up so it is a bit more obvious what you are doing.

Always nice to clean things up, the little things do add that bit of spit and polish to the game

3) If you use a seeker in "one use" mode then you do get a single location waypoint and it loses target you also get "Analysing biological signature... Target:XXXX"

Glad thisworks, put this in based on Tanks feedback to us and running through it once the new way on TestCenter. The terminal greifing should be eliminated as it takes more of a time investment to even get to the point of finding a name.

Agreed, I think it's a good trade off between getting the name and preventing 'gank' squads.

4) If you use a seeker in "infinite use" mode then you do get running waypoints but do NOT get a name.

Seek mode is the only one that returns name.

Cool, thanks for confirming that

5) If you use a seeker in either mode on kash, you get the "too many lifesigns" message and do not get any waypoints (and heres the important bit) DO NOT get a name

Until the Producers decide otherwise, Kashyyyk stays how it is.

Hmm, can you ask them to add the name (not the wp, I understand that's too much time to code)- or have a bigger meeting to discuss making Kash a quest only planet (no xp or xp-loss on world). I'll understand if you can't.

I am cross posting this in the bug thread in the hope they consider point 5 a bug and either fix the infinite use bug and give a name or make it a feature that to get the name you need to use a charge.

Thanks to the jedi who helped me with this test, and vredak for testing with me.

Glad to see the fixes put in work! Hopefully cleaned up the system a bit so new BH's do not get confused with all the sub menu options.

Thanks, Blix, and thanks for taking time on Sat to pop in and communicate with us

Well, at least we have confirmation that Kashyyyk is officially the new jedi planet. There is very little risk to them there, as the cdhance a BH will "stumble" over the jedi they have a mission on is virtually impossible... since they dont even get a name.

Well, lots of people have been asking for a jedi-only world. This is pretty close.

Jedi will never be a starting profession...Looted items and quest items will never be better then crafted items, this is not a loot based game...CH will return shortly...CH and BE will not be back in game...Rangers are getting their revamp next!...The stealth system will not be changing in the spy expertise...Need any more examples of things the devs said that did not hold true?

can we have a planet where jedi aren't allowed to participate in the GCW? or walk around with sabers out, in jedi robes, with professional titles up? we can call it "the planet that conforms to SW continuity".

12. isn't it ironic you are typing to remove Jedi (and content of Bounty-Hunters) to Bounty-Hunter boards?

trying to bring back permadeath or getting them to delete the bounty hunter profession is floccinaucinihilipilification.

This is getting pretty damn sad...

SOE keeps saying they want Jedi to be rare. I was reading old posts the other day and saw Q-3P0's about Jedi, and how they are suppose to be very very rare, and live a VERY hard life in SWG. Now adays they live a life of ease on Kash grinding all day long. If we can't hunt them there.... then I agree with who ever said turn off Jedi XP on Kash. If you want to train a Jedi, I wish you the best of luck... but you should have to live a hard life, not have a cake walk.

I wanted to start training a Jedi becuase I liked the idea of haveing to live in the shadows, risking my life to advance, not being able to go into town without always looking over my back, and always haveing to be on the move. However now the only thing jedi do is hunt with a mobil home, and on Kash... and they are grinding and advanceing at a rapid rate. It is clear that the only reason SOE is doing this is to try and increase player population, and increase their money intake in turn. There is nothing wrong with wanting to increase money intake.... but do it by releaseing an amazing expansion, fixing the game thats broken, and a better PR campaign. Not by unbalanceing, andcompleatly destroying the continuity of the game. These moves show that SOE only cares about Jedi... the rest of us can die for all they care, as long as the Jedi are happy.

Blixtev...you weren't going for this i'm sure...but....you really came off very...for lack of a better word "smart ass"

Almost mocking....not trying to flame just giving ya a minor PR tip....just kinda felt that way to me, maybe it was just me though /shrug

But so you're saying, we can't get a name on kash, this is intended...and so without a name we CANNOT hunt jedi on kash because droids don't give waypoints...so are you saying at this time its an active decision (not a bug or unintended effect that's just hard to code-fix) to make kashyyk a jedi safe zone?

If your mark is on kash they are in one of six places so they are not hard to find.

Also, i didn't think his post was smart ass at all...it is NICE to see any dev posts that are more then here is a bug thread for you...or other non informative posts...

they don't want jedi to be rare...in the old days yes...now NO...

the new player tutorial shows/hints at you becoming a jedi...

SOE likes jedi...jedi = grinding...grinding = monthly payments.
