that is the most retarded argument ever BH requires more skill points
if you don't like it you don't have to take BH but since they have the best PvP attack in the entire game everyone is going BH tell me how a master doctor/pistoleer/anything else competes with EYESHOT
well i suppose combat medic could after you killed them and you get incapped from poison and they use RTEF to come DB you(very extreme lame situation)
you BH's really don't realize how good you got it atm. 2 of the best weapons possible become available to you at novice. now go back to your stupid forum and complain about how your not good enough in PvP cause you can't take 5 people at once

Pretty good points but some are a bit over the top the more I think about them.
Note how in this thread a prominent poster considers removing us from PvP altogether and using us to police Jedi in the event that a player Jedi becomes a griefer. Also notice how many points are ripped apart by other bounty hunters ![]()
Oh and I want nothing "handed to me" by the way. That's just your opinion of how you think I feel about being a bounty hunter that's all.
Zzam you make mind damage HEALABLE. In beta mind could be healed. It was removed before the game went live but the mind attacks were not removed.
A bounty hunter can target and bleed any pool with our specials. The fact that many target a pool that can't be healed means that the answer is to make the unhealable pool healable. Doesn't it make since that if you can't heal mind and the other guy wants towin (as do you) that they attack the pool that can't be healed. I don't even have eyeshot and I don't PvP but even I can figure that one out.
Oh and by the way if mind damage was made healable I wouldn't complain one bit.

bleeds don't do anything in duels/PvP except cause wounds
making mind healable wouldn't change much you'd have to be able to heal every 3 seconds cause it takes 3 shots to do 1200 damage with eyeshot and a decent scatter. not to mention you can just pull out ye ol LLC and 1 shot people.
you want to know who would win a duel between a pistol4 BH and a master BH? the one who shoots first pretty cool huh hell im pretty sure a pistol2 BH could beat a master if he shot first

all that everyone does here on all of these forums is whine. its a dam game, if you don't like what their doing don't pay $15 a month, and if you think you could fix it then try being a developer, bet it wouldnt be easy now would it.
In response to the first post of this thread: In a game like this, if its designed poorly, and certain distinct INEQUITIES exist (like this game) What you'll find is this game will have a high burnout rate. ie for example. Yeah, BH is "supposed" to be more powerfull. Result.......Without equity in the game what you'll find is the people who choose other paths rather than the "Path of Power" will quit or only play occasionally. What you have left is a server community full of Bounty Hunters. Not what the swg is supposed to be. 1/50 people in the George Lucas universe, at most, should be a bounty hunter. If SOE makes bounty hunter so apealingthen 1/3 or 1/2 people (like now) will choose this "path of power" and the swg community gets very boring and non-diverse.
My solution is this:
1. Make BH harder to get. This will cut down on BHs duel-expert-classing (example: BH pistol tree and Pistoleer makes a character unbeatable in almost every situation) Reason for this read #2 below.
2. Make them use a wide selection of weapons with special skills only for bounty hunter(SOE already has this idea but they messed up along the way). The trick in this is not 1 weapon class will EVER outclass a dedicated weaponclass of the same type BUT the combination of the weapon diverity available to the bounty hunter makes the character extreamly versitile and unique able to adapt to almost any situation or engaugement like a true bounty hunter should be able to do.

Unbeatable? Better tell some of my opponents that. I'm not a master pistoleer yet, so when I get that maybe I'll become unbeatable (in almost every situation). Then the guy with the riffle and the mind bleed that took me out the other day won't be able to touch me, nor the dude with the AT ST, or that one guy with the poison and the nasty spider monster, oh and the BH that whacked me, or that commando the other day with that flamethrower (talk about wounds and a bleed).
Thank goodness I'm a duel-expert-classing-nearly-unbeatable-pistoleer/BH (in almost every situation).
Not that I totaly disagree with some of what your saying Tyler-D, but come on,broad generalizations and exaggerations are a big part of what is wrong with these forums.
