Jeez, here everyone is whining about how pistoleer sucks and BH's owning them. BH's should be more powerful than any other combatclass besides Commando, a Bounty Hunter is supposed to take their prey down quickly. If you don't like pistoleer than drop it, I for one like it.

And besides Pistoleer is probably gonna be fixed soon, just like all the other classes.

/agree. Although, BHs are more powerful than commandos with a little intelligence. Heres a tip: stay out of range of the commandos' specials and they are easy to take down. And yes, BHs do own pistoleers, and this is by design. Not just in pistols, as most of you complain about, but overall. BHs, whether you realize it or not, are designed to use all three weapons to kill their opponents. The pistol dabblers you complain aboutare nothing compared to a BH who uses allof our skills. Get used to dying by BHs' hands.

Hehe,I just realized what I did. Sorry about that, but I'm sick of people trying to get other professions nerfed cause their own isn't working correctly. But I must say, even if Pistoleer does get "fixed" you still won't be able to beat a BH regularly, nor should you be able to.

I don't get why people insist BH's should beat everyone in combat. If there was a developer statement anywhere that said they were supposed to be the best at PvP then I could accept that, but I've never seen any dev comment supporting that idea. It seems like people just want to insist they're the best combat class just because they say so. I've killed more than I've lost to, so I know they aren't unbeatable at all. You just have to spend your skill points wisely and play clever.

The reason people generally acknowledge that BHs are supposed to be the best in combat is because of the 1.2 million xp it takes to master each of the three weapons we use. And that's AFTER marksman. SO you got rifle, carbine, and pistol I-IV, then an additional 3.6 million weapon xp. So what you say? This is what- when we get good with a weapon, we have to give up using to start on the next one.

This is all in addition to mastering 2 1st-tier skills and having only a handful of points left. The DEVs don't have to issue a statement regarding BH superiority in combat or PvP. They said it all with the requirements.

pistoleers need 3.6 million PISTOL xp and i think 410k combat xp

all that and your second pistol skill is better then anything in the pistoleer tree now quit trolling

*ALL* pistoleer specials are useless if you have Dirty fighting , or BH pistol.

BTW master bh has less fire power than someone whohas bh carb4 + carbineer , and the carbineer still gets resists , I wonder how they will fix that.

BH pistol = very good agains players, it is $#!% PVE.

Pistoleer stopping shot is very useful in PVE situations and would be better in PVP than the dreaded eye shot if it was not for stims. In certain situation, it is better to use stopping shot in PVP, or the pistoleer bleeds.

After reading thisforum a while it really seems that about half the things that are posted make sence or are constructive, while the other half seems exaggerated, understated, to be just complaining, or a flat out lie.

Look at almost any thread on these boards. It really is unfortunate.

Correct me if im wrong but doesnt BH require that you master Marksman and Scout? After mastering BH you couldnt have many skill points left..... wheras to get pistoleer you really just need the 4 pistol skills in marksman. This should leave plenty of skill points to compliment your Pistoleer? Master CH? Combat medic? Surely this will make you a fairly well rounded character? With some imagination you could probably work out some tactics that would help you (or your group) in PvP, and would certainly make you a better PvE..... Oh wait, i forgot. This is all about being as Uber as possible. what am i thinking!

Hey! one sec - i didnt say our abilities didnt need fixing at all! we have plenty that are useless as they are. Im just saying that a master BH takes more skill points to achieve, wheras pistoleer can be combined with other classes to make interesting combinations. I just dont think whinging about BH's is going to get us pistoleers anywhere. Actually it seems at the momentwe are getting nowhere anyhow- except backwards.

BH's and commandos should be good combat classes, they are pretty hard to get and require a lot of skill points to master.
