So, in short: A mediocre PvP template, strong against newbies, useless against vets, and a horrible SL template.

Hi all im currently a master pistoleer and working in the bounty hunter pistol line and i wanted to know if this was a reasonable template to pvp or jedi hunt in?


Scout 4/0/0/0 (prerequisite for bh plus terrain negotiation is good)

master marksman (prerequisite for bh)

master pistoleer (de-10 gotta love it and geo pistol)

bh3/0/4/0(for the bh missions and the pistol speeds)

brawler 4/0/0/0(prerequisite for smuggler)

smuggler 0/0/4/0(last ditch and low blow abilities)


Basically as u can tell i wanna just work on pistols. so waddya think? I dont really know but i certainly will keep the bh pistol line and master pistoleer. The smuggler dirty fighting line is really effective cuz last ditch is alot stronger than stopping shot I hear and low blow knocksdown targets.

the problem is that as a mbh MPistoleer i have trouble hitting them and i will assume you mught have the same problem

For PvE it could be nice to play...for pvp i dont know enough about your server...here on gorath are (mind)fire dots very common as well as poison/disease resistance buffs...í´ve tested 185 eff. resistance buffs with a cm from my guild...nearly no chance with his pot 140 poison...he needed 12 or 13 attempts till he lands the dot...havin all this in mind i would go for master brawler/swords/doc 4020 and combat prowess 0004(enhance melee spd.)....u will have all the good things from master brawler and can cure all kind of dots and states...best thing...only +3 away from spd.-cap...

pritty nice, that template would work nicely for pvp, ive been 4-0-0-4 combat medic in my time and it is very affective, tho i never tested it out at high end pve lvl. I would make a slight alteration tho - go master swords, combat medic 4-0-0-4 and novice doc (for those state heals) - leave u some points over to do the whole fs speed thingy if u wish and i think the cmability to/healmind or watever its called can only be used on other players, not urself (i think?) - so it wouldnt benefit to u ifu aresoloing an elder/krayt

Surprisingly thats my template, but my server has been a bit low on large-scale PvP battles


So i havent had much time to test it.

What do you guys think of this template for general jedi hunting/some pvp and pve: Master pistoleer, investigation 3, bh pistols 4, 0/4/0/4 rifleman (for I think +40 or 50 ranged and melee defense), and novice medic. Does this template have any potential for a ranged bh?

drop the rifleman stuff, get novice brawler and maybe some more medic (if possible at least 0030 medic)
