Even for a ranged BH, as I am one myself, novice brawler for warcry and intimidate is very very beneficial. Keeping the jedi intimidated not only lessens the damage you will take if they manage to close the gap... it also carries the chance that they will waste the force pool healing themselves when you land it on them. Less force pool can never be a bad thing
I wouldn't personally take the rifle portion of your template just for the defenses. There are other ways of aquiring defenses that are either cheaper in skill points or can provide some more useful benefits. Do what is fun for you though, sounds like an interesting template.

Please show me a way to get +40 Melee Defense (from xxx4 Rifleman) with less then 20 skillpoints? That's right, you dont. As you already have 0004 Pistoleer that gives you +80 Melee defences, giving you a total of 82 - then add some melee defense food and you're going to land around 100ish defense.. which is realy nice.

Enhanced Reflexes Ranged Defensefor +20.... 4 skillpoints...+20 ranged defense tapes in ranged defense tapes same defense and saved yourself another 16 skillpoints. I would take intimidate over +40 melee defense anyways. Jedi are still going to slap you, so might as well lessen the damage they can deal and if they start to drop, you have warcry to buy you 10 secs to stick a KD before they feign, force run, or heal. Just a personal preference I guess, but +40 ranged doesn't seem worth the points to me. Oh and not sure if it works still as I haven't been a rifleman in a couple months, but why not negate the ranged defense line in rifleman for 0/0/4/4 rifleman to get a posture up attack to break feign? Just another option if you wanna go the rifleman route.

Knightcrest: Not many people have the means to buy +20 in ranged/melee defense tapes and not many people can be asked grinding the insane force exp, so +40 melee defences for 20 skillpoints is a nice tradeof tbh.
One more question: Does the Posture Up attack BREAK Feign Death? If it does.. I'll be so happy

Acutally, it does.. since the jedi only have 100 accuracy and if you're moving constantly they get it reduced by -50, that makes you hard to hit with 100 melee defense.

As to the enhanced reflexes, yeah too early in the morning
Wasn't thinking about the long grind and yeah defense tapes are a bit expensive for a lot of players.
I know that the posture up WOULD break feign in the past, but I haven't tried it in months to see if it is still working. Maybe a BH/Rifleman will see this and confirm it for us. Tra'vus (Shadowfire) you around to answer this? I would love to know if it still works. I may just drag a rifleman friendalong on a hunt tomorrow on someone that I know will feign to try it. I'll let ya know what I find out if no one beats me to the punch.
