I like it, it's clever. Certainly not at all what happened, but I'll go with it.
And to be honest, I have no remorse, nor feel like I am griefing when I shoot down a Jet Pack. I like to accentuate the "Risk" factor for Jedi. They walk amongst our servers with impunity. Supposed Gods amongst regular professions. If I have the oppurtunity to make that Jedi think twice before equipping his Jet Pack, then I've done my job. They should constantly watching their backs, not waving thier sabers around en masse.
Although I wouldn't be surpised if the devs gave Jedi the "Mass /Duel" power which would /duel /endduel anyone within striking distance, to minimize this from happening again.

Sounds good. Next time a BH comes for me, I'll cloak and run. When he gets on his bike/barc/av-21 to follow me I'll target his ride, do a area KD to destroy the bike and then recloak and continue to root/sabrehit/kd/cloak not trying to kill him at all, until finally I'm at my house. I'll run around cloaked until the TEF wears off and then go into my house safe and sound.
Wasted vehicle.
Wasted Aykryd Droid
Wasted Seekers
Wasted Time
No money.
Lowered BH's armor condition.
I'm no griefer though. I'm just playing the game. While sitting in my house, listening to the hate tells of what a sissy I am for "hiding in a house", I'll be lmao and try to come up with even more ways to waste a BH's time and money with maximum efficiency during my next BH encounter.
Sounds like the default Jedi tactic. What else is new?

Yesterday I tracked my mark to Theed, out front of the starport. I tab around and find the mark about 100m away with a group of other jedi. Buff were running like mad, so I hoped that the Jedi would be dueling someone soon. Then outta nowhere, a guy on a jetpack comes flying in and meets up with my mark! Then my mark starts saying things like "My turn! My turn!"
The guy who had it says, "Ok, just don't get it blown up!"
I thought, "Awesome." And soon enough, my mark jumps up into the air on it. Well, I figured it was worth it to take out a jet pack. So I target it, Crit shot, and it's done! It goes flying off, my mark jumps out. The fight was pretty quick thanks to a poorly timed KD bug and some well timed lag. But, as I lay there incapped with Jedi slapping my face, I read in spatial as the Jedi proclaimed:
"Triple incap him!"
So as the incap timer wears down, I'm spamming my stims and bacta shot. I jump up, heal, KD, snare and burst run outta the scene! I made it onto my swoop and was able to retreat!
I went back later after the Tef had worn off but the Jedi was buffed, and then logged out. Never got to finish it, but it was a lot of fun taking out a jetpack, even if they can be fixed now.
Note to Jedi: If you have a chance to DB a BH, then do it.

Clearly it was your intention to grief becasue you waited for him to get on the Jet Pack. It was not like you walked up and he was flying around. You got off on inflicting as much damage as could. You display the halmarks of a kid who likes to see others suffer in game.
Some people don't see it this way and that is ok. Those people tend to behave the same way and are defensive of their own actions. It is part of life...there are jerks every where but what is also part of life is eventually the Jerk meets his or her match and they get burned.
It is amazing when people come here to brag about this sort of thing. BTW you remind me of the player on my serverwho would friendly duel another player knowing his AV-21 wasjust outside the building and he would go out of his way to run up to said AV-21 just to blow it up then he would promptly end duel. He eventually got perma banned from SWG. There were players who defended that idiots actionstoo.

What else is new? Hmm, how about most of the BH's and people reading the BH forums flaming you for your lame actions? That's new, don't usually see that kind of response in the BH forums. Lately, the BH forums are worse than my fellow Jedi in our forum......and that's impressive.

Clearly you have a misconception. It was not my original intent to shoot down a jet pack. Once I found my mark flying around Theed, showing it off, well, let's just say that prompted me. A Jedi should be aware of his/her surroundings and understand that in order to be a Jedi, one must agree to being attacked at any given moment at any place. Failure to remain aware of such risks puts you in a situation of potential loss, like my mark. His thought that nothing could hurt him was what ended up causing this in the first place. Had he not been showing off in a public place, I would never have gotten the chance to shoot down his precious jet pack. People like you like to label others as griefers. You act like it is illegal to upset someone. And so you, like my Jedi mark, choose to live in a sugar coated world where people such as myself don't exist, and if we do, then it is us who is at fault, not you for letting your guard down.
Welcome to the real world, where people aren't honest and up front, especially when they're hunting you. Keep your eyes open and watch your back and this wouldn't have been a problem.
