Yes, you can get alot of Scoutingxp from harvesting. However, how would you like to
do it in hoursinstead of 2 weeks? Conceal can get alot of xp in a short amount of
time. Furthermore, while people were concealed/hunting in the countryside, I was
free to go and complete a couple missions. I have not found a maximum range for
conceal to send me the scouting xp. I got scouting xp from that person so long they
remained on that specific planet.
hahahahahahahaha - two weeks to get enough scouting xp to master ranger - now that's some funny stuff... what are you harvesting? nunas? hahahaha - well at least you finally found a use for camo kits.... ![]()

By the dictionary thats exploiting, but you cant get in trouble doing it ingame, so go ahead, but I think thats rather cheap and ruins the experience.

It is only an exploit if its a bug. That being said, I personally have very little faith in the words of a CSR. Sounds like a bug to me and by extension that would make it an exploit regardless of what the CSR claims to have asked the developers. They also claim to read your tickets, which I find to not be the case most of the time.

And when they fix it so that the same faction deaths don't give points, there'll be some jedi out there with alt accounts (and their friends' alt accounts) doing this. TBH there is nothing the devs can do to stop it.

A bug? I doubt that. Just a crack in the floor the devs didnt notice when revamping Jedi. A bug is a malfunction in a code, an exploit is a way to take advantage of a situation the devs didnt know was made possible and didnt intend for the situation to be able to occur. Which is actually what this topic is, Id consider it an exploit (Im pretty sure the devs didnt intend to let Jedi to be able to grind on their guild members). So even if it isnt bannable, its still exploiting. Just not consequencialexploiting.

Its stupid, its tragic, and its lame... but that sums up the entire FRS design at this point. Hopefully this flaw will be addressed with the rest of the glaring inadequacies of the system. The sooner this is resolved, the better.

I can see it now... 20 people in close quarters surrounding the Jedi, all dueling him and peacing out, while he spams his favorite AoE and DB's them all, then gets his Doc alt to rez them all using havla

A guild can have up to 400 members, I dont think much people have over 10 accounts. Since you can only DB the same persononce in a while, accountgrindingwouldnt help much,

If you aren't meant to be able to get xp off similar faction then its a bug (Likely). If you are, then its simply poor design and not an exploit (Unlikely). The fact that the developers didn't know about it does not mean it isn't a bug. A bug, by definition, is a feature in the game that does not work properly. Using intentional game mechanics to your advantage is NOT exploiting. Using bugs to your advantage is exploiting.

not an exploit, just another oversight resulting in improper execution of the system.

think of it as more like Crafting crystals for jedi EXP.
Not an exploit, not going to affect many people, and if it abused, it will be removed.
or the exp will be reduced.
