It would seem to me that the Jedi could have just paid you off without the fight afterwards. By him entering into to fight, he got what he deserved.

Yes indeed it is. have seen several people banned for cheating others out of money.
Not sure if this instance will be considered that.
However You did agree not to DB him for a price. Took the Payment, then DBed him. This is fraud in a verbal sense.
I would guess that if he has the chatlogs of the transaction, and combat log timestamped showing the DB then you might be seen as guilty by SOE for trade fraud. Since there is no tangible item traded it would be impossible to prove withouth timestamped Chat/combat logs.

I wouldn't worry too much.
Silentmerc didn't get banned for blatently ripping people off. I doubt you will get banned for playing your character. The jedi sounds like a Jerk.

Dont need screenshots its in the TOS, and EULA that you click on everytime you play SWG.
Look on the main swg site also. its in one of the several community standards forms.

Did he stipulate that you could "never" deathblow him? If not, then you could assume that the agreement to not deathblow him was only temporary and that you waited long enough. As was mentioned earlier, the idiot should have just paid you off and not entered into combat with you. Congrats on killing a stinking force user.
I say kill 'em all, let the midichlorians sort 'em out.

4. You may not defraud other players.
Fraud is defined as falsely representing one's intentions to make a gain at another's expense. Examples of this activity include but are not limited to - offering to "slice" a weapon or container belonging to another player and then keeping the items and/or credits - as well as using flaws in a secure trade window to deprive someone of one or more of their items or credits. Other examples include selling disabled vehicles, renaming items and selling them as a different item, or violating any trade agreement (such as agreeing to craft an item for resources, but keeping the resources/item instead).. These examples are not all inclusive, other violations will be reviewed by Customer Service on a case by case basis.
Defrauding other customers will result in the removal of earnings or equivalent goods from your accounts, and may result in disciplinary action being taken against the account that may include official warnings, account suspensions, or account terminations depending on the severity of the incident which will be determined by a CSR and a CSR Supervisor. Multiple suspensions or account termination will result in the termination of all SOE game accounts.

No, I'm not kidding. Every contract has to have a time clause. If you don't stipulate the time limit of the contract then you are free to interpret it as best benefits you.

If it is reported then there will be an investigation. If they find cause to think that there was a trade fraud issue then there could be judgement.
I have seen people banned for trade fraud. I.E. making a small house deed, and selling it to someone named "Av-21 deed" (before the fix for this was instated)
I doubtthis case would ever go to that however it is a possibility.
He made an agreement not to do something and did it anyway. This shows some of his inner workings. This person is not someone I would trust he can't even keep his word in a video game.
Also dont say he is RPing a BH so he can do what he wants.
It says in plain text in the SWG EULA, and Community standards document that RP can not be used as a defense for Griefing, harrasing, or scamming people in the game world.

No, this should not be a bannable offense, the jedi should have been aware that he was dealing with a BH, and we all know what deceitful scum BH's are.
This particular jedi is simply a fool.
