Thread: Respec BH's

I didn't do BH before because a) PvP wasn't my cup of tea back then (I didn't realise there were NPC marks). b) It took up sooooo much skill points, and there were other profs I wanted to try in combination first.

Now I'm happier with my abilities in PvP, and I can viable combine other professions (2.5! it's brilliant).

What's happened is that BH (in fact more profs overall) have become far more flexible in what abilities you have - you still have to spend skill points to get them, the specials that will help your 'main' profession, but you get to choose. I'm Master Rifles, Master BH, and Pistols 4xx4. But I could pick carbines or whatever, or even CM (which was a thought actually), still be BH in the main, but have different complimenting skills.

So it's not so much that the grind wasn't there, it is there, but in a different way. You just get to choose what to grind.

If that makes any sense...I'm still only on my first cup of coffee...

Pre CU, I was a Master Carbineer/BH Carbs guy. I had an alt character who made BH droids to still help in the good fight, but I didn't hunt them myself.

Post CU, I still wanted to do that, found I had a bunch of skill points leftover, looked at all the benefits of MBH, and it was a no-brainer. I've also found hunting Jedi to be really enjoyable, and I've actually had a bunch of nice conversations with Jedi I've killed (or who've killed me).

Funny Commando's say the same thing about people that respec to Master Commando from other professions. With the things the way they are now after the CU us Master Commandos have to get our specials from somewhere. lol Unfortunately for me I didn't have all my sp used up so I am still grinding away Investigation I, II, III, and IV. I really enjoy it actually you get alot more credits than you could hunting alone or in a solo group before.

Yeah, I was like everything. lol, I had to merge all my stuff. I couldn't help it, Im like that. I was master of no trade. I had some BH, like 1 investigation, and up to low blow, and I had some carbine, novice CH, and another box in it the one to group I think, a little smuggler, with some slicing lol. So after CU, I reaked. I mean come on I had a bunch of boxes, but all spread out I couldnt do nothing. So I converged down to my fav two. Carbines and Bounty Hunter. Bounty Hunter mostly for the duelist stance, a bleed shot, and that critical shot. And Carbine works well with it. I still had to grind some to master them both, but with double xp week, and a great guild, group, friends, I maxed my guy out real quick.

And in the end, I enjoy most dueling other BH's Jedi are just creds, but I want to be the best BH killer lol. I want to eliminate all my competition. Cant wait till all professions can get on the boards. Look out smugglers, doctors, entertainers lol.

OK, cool. For now on hopefully everyone will recognize you as one of the old-school BHs with an opinion about respec BHs.

I grinded the bh the normal way and i was a mdoc a couple months back and i drop it. I miss migration oh well i at least i get my LLC back with the new patch.

As for Respec bh i can careless who respec cause you can have a vet respec to bh and he or she will do great. Also any prof can be respec even jedi boxes so i can careless if they respec or not.

Some people who play MMOs are fairly well adjusted people, and some aren't. I simply do not see why this needs to be asserted in a million different ways a million times a day.

BH used to something that demanded respect even though we were not the best in PVP. These respec Bh's(fof the most part..not all)are giving the rest of us a bad name in the streets. Shady tactics, and horribly immature names are just the tip of the iceberg, its like an infestation of rats with a BH title over their heads. I watched a padawan get beat in Theed, normally I would have enjoyed it, but the BH started saying "owned you loser" and a few other things that just made me ashamed to be a BH, which I thought would never happen.

Now you're being unfair. If a BH wants to abuse a Jedi and call them names, then that's their Dev-Given right to do so. That's what Jedi are there for.

leather...just because you CAN do something does not make it the right thing to do..It is more about grace and style than an issue of whether or not he should be allowed to do so..I can slap someone in their mouth on the street..doesnt mean I should.

For the record, I'm a respec BH, but I go ape inside if I see someone use the 'o' (or 'p'!) word!

We're not talking about real people. They're just Jedi, and thus unimportant. Slap away. Feel free.

Blame the CU I guess. We got nearly everything we've ever asked for with bells on in the CU. Even if you have no interest in hunting jedi at all BH is (in my opinion only of course) THE best prof to master if you plan on mastering any other ranged elite prof. Given that there are bound to be people taking BH for the specials, skillmods and weapon certs who tinker with jedi missions here and there.
