Thread: How does one kill a Jedi with: stasis, FR3, and cloak?

So how is it done? Last ditch? Catch em off guard with sniper shot? What do you guys do to hunt and kill a jedi that runs at the drop of a hat (or when he realizes his saber sucks and can't kill you, the BH,after 15 minutes)?
Nice, that's another good one.

After good advice from another Jedi on these forums, I've always made sure to agro any npc i can find in the city I'm in so stasis doesn't work against me. Of course they could always kill the little guy who's messing up their stasis rather quickly, but most Jedi don't think about that when in a panic.
Cloakers...can't really do much about these guys. Follow right behind the crowd of agro with your droid attacking. Eventually their force will drain and they'll be **edit** out of luck. Course they usually just get away if there's no agro around...
Why doesn't anR3 melee droid stop them from cloaking?......
I almost forgot.... There are nights when your missions are bugged 4 out of 5 and you just get fed up.....House camping Jedi and bugged NPCs plague this prof. I have found that teaming up with a good BH friend and doing a few Jedi missions makes me feel better. Alot of people forget how easy it is to pull the same mission. It only takes about 5 minutes...... And with 2 BH on a Jedi's tail he prolly wont get away
If I chase 5 Jedi in a night and get nothing but runners you had better believe I am going to pair up and take a few ![]()

Let me ask you ALL this. Are you more likely to drop the jedi's mission if he does the stasis, fr3, and cloak routine? Do you all give up then, or does that make you want to get him that much more?

No other profession comes close to the escapetools that jedi possess. If they don't want to fight, there is little you can do.

what's the point of answering this? it's always going to vary. DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES.
you should jsut drop the mission. . .b/c i will prolly do it again . . . i use my skills to win or to not lose. . .

Let me be more specific, Are you more likely to drop this jedi's mission than not considering all your CIRCUMSTANCES.

That's some insane damage! So startleshot is like stasis, but shorter?

How much does a bomb droid do on damage? What kind of attack would a rifleman use to do that kind of damage?
Level 59-60 Bomb droids will do between 1000 and 1800 damage in my experience. The difference is dependant upon the Jedi's template. Obviously defenders will be much less overt damage.
I typically get good results with the following:
Time this so the bomb droid goes of the instant you hit KD
Alpha Strike
Bomb Droid Explosion - 1500dmg
/underhandshot - 500dmg
/startleshot - 400dmg
/snipershot -1500dmg
/criticalshot -1000dmg
4900 total damage in less than 10 seconds. If you catch them off guard, they won't be able to survive this. The knockdown and startle are KEY to keeping them from healing. For the 5 seconds they are "startled" they can neither stand up, nor heal themselves. Without Jedi macro's running, they will usually never stand up again when I hit them with this.
High power, kinetic rifle. Most Jedi are stacked against energy. If they don't have their macro's running that's about what the norm is going to be. If they DO have the macros running, you can take about 1/3 off those numbers.

Grow some stones and make your own decisions. If you cannot, here are some simple answers to our personal circumstances...lol
If I am in the mood and havethe timeto stalk someone, then for sure i will follow him from a far and keep track of his whereabouts. My recent kill was lame probably to him but it was the most enjoyable on my end. I had stalked this guy from planet to planet for wellover a hourand eventually he was at the Imp base on talus inside one of the structures. I was in the opposite end inside a structure watching him. then I got the message he logged out. I knew it was only a matter of time he would come back on. Went over to the wp spot, pulled out my bomb droid and waited. Less then 15 minutes later he logged. A couple shots and a bomb droid later, he was dead and I was 221k richer. I could imagine the look on his face when he was loggin on with his toon and heard the battle music as he watched the load screen, ![]()
Then there are other instances where I know I won't be able to have the time to stalk, in the mood to do something else, and/or know I won't be able to log in for a few days. Most likely during these times, I delete their mission....'
See what I mean byones ownpersonal circumstances, now? ![]()
