Thread: How does one kill a Jedi with: stasis, FR3, and cloak?

So how is it done? Last ditch? Catch em off guard with sniper shot? What do you guys do to hunt and kill a jedi that runs at the drop of a hat (or when he realizes his saber sucks and can't kill you, the BH,after 15 minutes)?

Wait to catch them off guard, like in a duel or grinding group.

There isn't much you can do against a Jedi who is not intent on fighting. Espeically with this template. They can leave the fight despite ANYTHING you do against them.


MCM's will paralyze and DOT the BS out of them to keep them in range while Riflemen will rely on their alpha strike + bomb droid combo to hit for 5000 dmg in the first 10 seconds while carbineer/pistoleers will try rooting/snaring to keep them local.


But if they want to get away.... they will.

LD or afk is the only way or when they have no force after pvp or a lair

How much does a bomb droid do on damage? What kind of attack would a rifleman use to do that kind of damage?

Pretty much catching them off guard and hitting them for about 3.5k in the first 5 to 10 seconds of the encounter. If they have time to react or know you are there up front, you will get hit by Stasis and see them running and cloaking if they dont want to fight.

Depends on the bomb droid. If you can find a good one, it seems like it can take a Jedi down to maybe 60-70% health--at least it did to the guy I got loading into the starport (evil laugh--but I honestly thought he'd moved and I waited for him to load in before losing badly). I'd use sniper shot any time I could for my attack.

Depends on the bomb droid. If you can find a good one, it seems like it can take a Jedi down to maybe 60-70% health--at least it did to the guy I got loading into the starport (evil laugh--but I honestly thought he'd moved and I waited for him to load in before losing badly). I'd use sniper shot any time I could for my attack.




Will a bomb droid work on a cloaked player? Can a player cloak when he has a DOT. I think it worked when your DOTs were broken over the weekend.

Level 59-60 Bomb droids will do between 1000 and 1800 damage in my experience. The difference is dependant upon the Jedi's template. Obviously defenders will be much less overt damage.


I typically get good results with the following:


Time this so the bomb droid goes of the instant you hit KD


Alpha Strike

Bomb Droid Explosion - 1500dmg

/underhandshot - 500dmg

/startleshot - 400dmg

/snipershot -1500dmg

/criticalshot -1000dmg


4900 total damage in less than 10 seconds. If you catch them off guard, they won't be able to survive this. The knockdown and startle are KEY to keeping them from healing. For the 5 seconds they are "startled" they can neither stand up, nor heal themselves. Without Jedi macro's running, they will usually never stand up again when I hit them with this.

That's some insane damage! So startleshot is like stasis, but shorter?
