LoL I love it

What's the message there? We don't mind be a broken profession as long as we get to look cool?

That's actually not a bad idea, if the devs gave us silly little appearance things everytime they took something away I bet they wouldn't get so many hate e-mails and threads.

CH is getting hit pretty hard with the nerf bat soon as well, so being a pistoleer and a creature handler I should get two cool looking things, like holsters, pistol spins, and a pet that looks like the tiger that mauled Roy.

Before you claim to be a pistoleer and know how bad it is being a PURE pistoleer, drop your BH skill and get a clue. Im not saying that being a master pistoleer is week, but when you look at all 3 of the basic Elite professions, Pistoleer has it the worst IMO. The fact is that a Master Rifleman can shoot faster than a Master Pistoleer with better accuracy. I agree that we arent supposed to do as much damage as other classes, and the fact is we dont. Maybe on a gnort we do the same damage as another elite profession, but when it comes to harder mobs with light armor and up our effectiveness is extremely reduced. Before you come into a forum for pistoleers claiming to know how it is, why dont you go ahead and level the other 16 boxes you are lacking in this profession. Until then please keep quiet.

Well I suppose I could point out individual things you said, but I don't really have to. Your entire first post was a little off the wall, including the very weird declaration of calling down the pistoleer wrath colorfully tweaked with old english. Your personal quote seems like you're a little touched in the head. Most importantly you're having a massively negative reaction to a comment that may not have even been pointed at you. Good enough? Now calm down and go back to sadistically laughing while you plug jawas.

No. Just the ones that flame on your boards. Most of us want peace love and happiness for all. LOL

Kidding aside. Yeah they flame on our board too. Just ignore the loons We do have some childish primadonna types running around, but then so do all professions.

Oh and I'll dig the holsters at tech IV that way I can wear em too LOL.

There are 17 talior craftable belts in the game, not including armor belts.

Paded armor belt already extends below the waist graphically.

So how hard is it to add an empty holster graphic to some of these?? We know the addition of making weapons actually go in a holster or sheath pretty much isn't on the table for any time soon (4 yrs of EQ and still no scabbards) so just give us empty ones!

Why is this so important? Well it's the SW atmosphere. With the exception of checking under Leia's skirt, pretty much EVERY character in the films had a visable holster - not just a hoola hoop belt. By just dropping the graphic down we could immediatly have a few to get started.

- we have the double bandolier - add a holster graphic under the left arm

- pocketed belt - make the holster shaped graphic bigger, a' la Josey Wales style

- padded belt seems to be on the right track. Now just lower it more and add a tie down strap to the thigh

It's all about the Star Wars atmosphere with holsters, and we can always use a little more Lucas in our SW game.

If this was mentioned and responded to by a devalready, sorry i didnt find it. Please link if you would.

I think it would be great to have holsters for some combat classes especially pistoleer but something similar for all would be even better as a great alternative to walking around with your weapons always out or gone completley. And i think being able to see the weapon being drawn from the holster would be awesome. I guess im just a big western fan but in the star wars movies han had a holster. Feedback please.

Yes, i have to admit that while i would enjoy seeing new weapons, i would enjoy even more seeing some of the following: holsters for guns, sheaths for swords, and the ability for weaponsmiths to change the color of weapons. If these things were implemented i think it would be worth new weapons being put on hold for a while. And (maybe?) it would take less time to be worked into the game.

I don't recall where I read it but the Dev's did say that they would like to give use holsters but it's not that easy so it would be something later on down the road. Hope this helps.

Think the Devs reply was something like that would be a cool idea, but very, very difficult to program in to the code. Frankly, would rather just get the existing stuff working

I believe that a post was brought up regarding a holster that may or may not have been in the beta. It had the link to a 360 degrees view of a Bothan with a holster, but I'mafraidI can't remember the URL.

Adding holsters would be really really cool IMO.

I believe holsters are mentioned along with, shudder, twirly moves in our first top 5 list. A moot point IMO we are WAY past the point of cosmetic fixes, how about a special that damages an opponents ham pool, could we get one of those?
