tef prevents entering PRIVATE buildings.

declare and follow them in, or wait, or drop the missions and go get another one.

this wank is old and tired and you are a noob for crying about it.

the solution is above, keep 200 fp for both sides.

The Jedi already gets an automatic tef when you attack them even if the Jedi does not attack back. What more do you want? If the Jedi chooses not to fight which is their option they need somewhere to go to escape. Or maybe now the tef should perma root them so they cant go anywhere and you can definitely get your kill. I just dont understand all the arguments if they get away go after someone else who wants to fight. Pretty simple!!!

This statement defies all logic. Jedi have plenty of options if they don't wish to fight; cowards are very resourceful. This is a clear exploit that needs addressing. Neither the BH nor the Jedi is supposed to be able to enter any building while the TEF is active.

If the Jedi would keep his saber in his pants, he wouldn't be on the terms to start with.

Your missing my point! What I am saying is that BH got what they wanted with the tef being placed on a Jedi even when they dont fight back. So now if a Jedi who chooses not to fight it is much tougher for them to escape because they cant get into a house. This system already makes it easier for the BH and now that the Jedi finds a way to escape into a base, you want that fixed as well. I'm sure it will be at some point in time but my question to you is how much do you want? How easy do you want it? Yes there are alot of bases these days but not everywhere. If your mark is grinding near a base or happens to escape into a base just drop mission and go for another. I know many Jedi who do not enjoy the pvp aspect of the game and it is their choicenot tofight if they so choose.

Oh! and before someone says "stay off the terminals" or "if you dont want to be hunted then dont play Jedi" here is my answer to that. They pay their money just like we all do. They can enjoy this game however they choose to. If they decide to stasis and run, cloak and run, run into a base so be it. It is simple enough to find a Jedi who will fight back.

should anyone really be able to start a conversation while fighting?

if one cant holler at the spynet guy from the back of my bike, why should one be able to maintain a conversation while taking shots to the head?

I get a kick out of posts like this. First of all what makes them a coward? Maybe they just have nothing to prove by fighting you. I mean think about it, what do they have to gain by killing you? Secondly, as I mentioned before, people have the right to play this game any way they choose to. If they want to flash their saber in public and get on the terminals they have that right to do so. No? This does not mean they have to fight the BH that comes for them and this does not make them a coward. Its a game remember!!!

On my server we rebels are pretty much dominating the imps, so there aren't many imperial bases for my marks to run to

It comes with the territory. You get hunted because you are all criminals. The Empire has declared the extermination of all jedi. We are part ofthe law enforcement. People tend to forget this and like to think its the other way around.

So now if a Jedi who chooses not to fight it is much tougher for them to escape because they cant get into a house. This system already makes it easier for the BH and now that the Jedi finds a way to escape into a base, you want that fixed as well.

I noticed you said "fixed" instead of implemented. You were never meant to do this. I have never used a bug to escape from a fight I can't win and never will.No one shouldexploit any bugs in PVP, period. What makes you so special?

I'm sure it will be at some point in time but my question to you is how much do you want? How easy do you want it? Yes there are alot of bases these days but not everywhere. If your mark is grinding near a base or happens to escape into a base just drop mission and go for another.

Nobody should have to drop a mission becausea jedientered a structure in a TEF. If someone escaped me by using statis and force running, I don't have a problem.

I know many Jedi who do not enjoy the pvp aspect of the game and it is their choicenot tofight if they so choose.

Again, the PVP comes with the territory.Nobody wants the jedi to just sit there and die. Just don't use a bug to escape.

Oh! and before someone says "stay off the terminals" or "if you dont want to be hunted then dont play Jedi" here is my answer to that. They pay their money just like we all do. They can enjoy this game however they choose to.

Yes, we all pay money to play this game. Your monthly payment, however, doesn't give you the ability to not play by the rules. How doesthe money you paynegate mine? I'm just asking to have things work properly.

If they decide to stasis and run, cloak and run, run into a base so be it. It is simple enough to find a Jedi who will fight back.

I don't have a problem with the first two things you listed. As much as I hate cloakers, I can't complain. They are using their intended abilities to escape. People running into a base while in a TEF is another story. Stop grouping these people together. I don't havea problem with peoplewho playby the rules.

No I'm not missing your point. Your point is that since you think its now tougher to get away from a bh, that that justifies exploiting an in game bug. So by your thought process, since it was tougher for me to kill a jedi before the armor break slices came in game I should have used the /duel bug to kill jedi? Seriously, this line of thinking is just insane.

My post is regarding hunting same faction so the jedi is UNABLE to use a in game bug to exploit. While the neutral trick described in this post would work, it would also require a player thathas workedvery hard toget faction points together in order to max his faction rank to drop that rank and waste all the hard work involved. That is an unacceptable solution for someone that wants to remain in their faction of choice. Not to metion a neutral bh that has touse this trick is technically not neutral as he's switching back and forth in bothfactions...

I'm looking at the patch notes right now. There is no mention of the word PRIVATE structure.

As a Jedi i find that stupid :X They shouldn't be able to speak to the npc

Hope they fix it soon, I'm sick of these abusing Jedi that make more and more people hate them :X

(note that just as many non-jedi exploit but people seems to focus mainly on Jedi for these things)
