These guys arent that hard. If your rifleman, /cover and conceal shots is nice for about the first 1/4 of his health, then just get up and KD him, advanced crit, then eyeshot, then do confusion shot. Keep kiting and have ruby bliel handy to heal.

Agreed. I was so enraged after my mark's first retreat, I left for about 30 minutes or so to make a tactic that would work on him. And it did

Did two yesterday - having read this column i had no trouble at all:

1. First one, I got an NPC creature between us to aggro, which negated the uber regen he had

2. Second one, pulled my pet to do the same job

Nice work and great advice.

I haven't had much trouble with the 34k+ HAM marks (after the first one worked me over ). I'm a MBH, MCarb, SL 0/4/0/4.

Here's how I do 'em:

Food: Bofa Treats, Blob Candy and Pixie. I occasionally use some crispic too.
Armor: 6k resist Rebel Combat armor and a 2334 PSG.
Weapons: Grievous Carbine and Proton Carbine (8% damage slice, rest in speed/crit - w/SAC powerup).
Healing: Stim D's + Ruby

If I see it's a 34k+ mark, I hit the pixie on top of my food. I'll call my non-combat pet dog (I'm still looking for a good combat droid), group him and then park him somewhere safe.

I equip the grievous carbine (60m range, ahoy!) and start my duelist stance macro. I then pop Rally - Adv Crit Shot opener, followed by states, bleeds and then KD. Then I'll usually switch out to the Proton for the rest of the fight.

The PSG really does work wonders.

i use pretty much the same tactics cept im mbh/mrifle/0303 pistol and some FS crap

start at 65m

prone, cover

usually 3 conceal shots folllowed by an adv sniper

stand

KD, startle, confusion shot, headshot, adv critical shot

then while hes getting upill hit the duelist stance

then i root and get back to 60+m wear him down with ranged/placed

then start back over with the KD

ruby and stims as needed

and my survivability went up boatloads with a PSG

i havent gotten incapped yet by one

got 2 in a row yesterday and both dropped reinforced casings /cheer

I am a MBH/M Doc and don't have much difficulty with the high health marks, simply because I always have a buff, am a good healer, and can whittle him down to nothing and win.

Setup:

Grab the mission, get bio sig, blah, blah, blah.

Buff outside Kaadara starport with droid out (gives about 7 minutes more on HAM buffs)

Travel, seeker droid on landing, check initial location for nearest starport/shuttleport and travel, or call bike and drive.

Track mark, take blob candy/bofa treats/caf on arrival, reapply speed buff, make sure muon is on toolbar.

Equip HLR if LOS is good, otherwise equip power celled scatter pistol(capped damage, 77 sac, 10% crit slice).

Start DS macro, bacta infuse myself. Torso shot, KD, Crit shot.

Cycle specials, if KD recovery necessary, use ranged shot until action builds up a bit.

Bacta infuse once or twice more in fight, heal once if necessary.

Collect bounty/loot mark

I wear battle armor with fairly average stats, and equip a PSG. I use artisan foods because my main on the server is a master artisan/master weaponsmith/(master shipwright--not important to story)

I am not a jedi hunter, but have been told by someone in game that used this temp that it is a fairly decent template for doing so if you pick the right moment to attack ( can be said for any temp, heh).

The biggest tip I have is that with only Novice Medic healing, +25 healing efficiency threads, and a medical droid (MSE 110 med rating) out, you can heal for lots. NPC marks tend to ignore little MSE droids, so you can fight and heal away all day.

Best investment is a droid.

I suggest an Adv. Probot with level 6 armour and the following modules installed.

1 combat module (coupled with the level 6 armour you get a CL30 droid with max damage)

1 level 6 medical module (110 bonus to your heals)

3 Stim delivery modules. (I have some stim A's that give me 217 per hit. Not much but at least its on a different timer than my Stim D)

Using stims doesnt use any health or action. I take a "break" in the middle of the fight to equip the lowest SAC wpn I have using the cheap default attack and suck back stims like mad. The damage the Probot does should negate the marks regen. while your action recharges on its own.

Not the best but if you dont have a lot of money for uber guns, uber armour and uber food, then your Probot is your best bud.

Duelist Stance + Eye Shot negates the damage so much, I normally only heal 2-3 times against the bosses.

But then again, I always have Thyroid Rupture on them too
