Well, when a CL 60 jedi is being attacked by a CL 80 BH, would it make you feel better if he just stood there and died?
There are alot of Jedi who know they have no chance against a decent BH. So things like this help us survive.

Jedi also have force run and the option to add a bit of defender or healing to help them survive if they were rooted.

As a BH, I would say force cloak is "working as intended". I'd use a force cloak too if I had it, could have used that against a few Knights so that I could have run away. Not all BH's think jedi's tactics of using legitimate in-game tactics are wrong. Keep on using force cloak, eventually we will get you into combat. Good luck all jedi and BH's.

I am also a BH, and I couldnt agree more. I'd much rather engage a Padawan who cloaks (legit), and gives me the whole "The Chase is On!!" feeling, than just stand there and die. Although its kind of a ride killer when they cloak and run to thier house and log out. I'd rather chase the Jedi all over the Galaxy, tracking and stalking for an entire day without ever actually killing him. I like the thrill of the Chase.

I used cloak yesterday to kill an overt that was fighting another overt. Just stood there until he was almost dead, hit him with choke then /deathblow.

Don't think he liked that much but it sure was fun. Cloak rocks!

Cloak should have a nominal force tick, with added force cost depending on aggro, and stuff. That is JMHO.

Cloak does have an initial Force cost and a tick cost that is dependent on the amount of people around the cloaker. The more people the Jedi has to use the cloak mind trick on, the more Force he will lose while staying cloaked. Educate yourself about a skill before talking about it, please.

Attacking Jedi that are cloaked is exploit and should always be reported.

Actually, hitting the Jedi with area attacks is not an exploit, since the Jedi still is there after all. To counter it just stand in a large crowd of lvl 80 critters and see what an area attack does to the BH .
Applying CM stuff while the Jedi is cloaked is an exploit, though.

I mean really. It is worse than the dang house exploit. It needs a timer on it like a 30 min cooldown. Should use much more force to maintain also.

OK next time I am rooted/KD/and Dazed, and you run out to 80 meters with your snipershot, and cyborg arm Ill just hang out and stand there while you pummle me from a distance I have no hope toclose.

Either that or when you try this ill cloak, run up to you, and takethe fight back to you.

Cloak is the defense against you being able to shoot me frommore than 40 meters from my best attack.

Sounds like you want the easy fight where you can just hang at 80 and root/kd the jedi all day.

go to 80m root/shoot/shoot/shoot get to 80 m again shoot/shoot/shoot/root rince and repeate. You right I should have no defense to this.

There was a jedi the other day that was taking pot shots at my PvP group in front of a starport. He would cloak and run in the starport, then uncloak and hit us with an area attack. I got to the point where I stood at the steps of the starport, kept hitting tab to target him when he uncloaked, and kept spamming paralyze. Eventually he uncloaked, got paralyzed, and killed lol.

Good for you. No need to use faulty game mechanics (otherwise known as exploits) to solve the problem. Nice going.

It's the decision of the Jedi if they wish to stand and fight you, as it's the hunters choice to have first strike.

Jedi gain nothing by fighting a hunter while the hunter has nothing to lose.

If they spend the SP to get that ability, more power to them.
