I would love it for NPC missions. Trouble is knowing our luck they would probably not spawn, or end up stuck in an asteroid.

It is a good idea and would definelty add more depth into the game. It would really open up alot of oppurtunites of hunt and chace. However I really dont forsee this happening. It would be a fun thing to roll out though.

A jedi master pilot is just the same as chef master pilot. There are no additional skills, no additional ships, no additional commands, no additional no-nothing. As much as I'd love turning them into free floating hydrogen, I can't figure out a reason to justify the substantially increased risk.
Unless exp loss in space was removed, which would reduce the risk, a lot, but that would be open to exploitation.

I think NPC bounties in space would be a great idea. Not only would it be fun for the pilot Bounty Hunter, it would add more (and Star Warsy) content in space- An area that has SOOOOO much potential.

In fairness, I went back and added the "PS" after his comments, to keep anyone else from getting the wrong impression, however in equal fairness theres no way you could have known that.

NPC space bounties would work. The only proper argument against it is whether it's something the devs can spend time on. On the other hand, considering it can probably be made off a lot of "copy and paste" code to splice it up, it might be possible to squeeze in as another "weekend project".

Although it's hard to tell since the edit timestamps are based of your local clock, I'mfairly certainthat the PS that explained it as NPC bounties was added after my post. Excuse me for not feeling particularly telepathic today.

My aporrogies.

I'd just hate to see this idea get shot down so quickly because of a misunderstanding.

i think space missions would be cool ...and might actually be implemented since JTL is sold now grouped with the rest of the expansions ...

after all many BH/mark battles were fought in space ... ( my fav is jango fett VS kenobi)

Yep, I'd be into space BH missions, but rather than not knowing if the mission was a space one or not you'd have to make it clear in the mission text as not everyone has (or wants) master pilot.

i bet they will never do it because
a) jtl is really a seperate game from swg
b) npc's are trivial once you are an ace, even 4-5 tier 5's are soloable. hell, i do the vette solo and take out the entire escort

\ Shuggoth's Sugar Shack of Loot /
\ 324, -3627 - Outside Coronet /
\ -Servants of Hastur Outlet- /

Hastur - Human Jedi | Gnomely - Sull Spy | Shuggoth - Wookie Slave / ShipWright

RIP All of the above 07.13.03 - 03.20.06
Killed by poor gameplay and developer mismanagment

a) they have already combined the two in several ways with some of the new quests that came out w/ ROTW(such as Boba's to get the KYD21). also, they are now sold 2gether.

b) many would say the same thing of them on the ground once they have finished their template(I know I would), so I dont see what the difference is besides having a change in surrounding/type of fighting from time to time, which is was the whole point of it all.
