I dont know how many have dont the BH missions from the guy on Kash, but one of them is a space mission, which got me thinking. Seriously, why isnt this in place yet? It would be incredibly easy to do. Grab a mission off the term like normal, launch a probe droid like normal, but instead of it telling you what planet your mark is on it tells you what space sector. Go to the term, launch your ship, hyperspace to that sector, launch a seeker(droids dont need to breathe)and follow the wp as it updates to your mark. I've got a firespray but no way to use it in my BHing

Letus hunt in space, I say! Just think, this could be you!

PS: I'm not talking about player bounties, I'm just talking about some space NPC missions just for variety.

If PvP bounties would transfer to space, maybe the potential target could get a "sector proximity alarm" once the BH and target are in the same system. The target should be allowed to pre-emptively attack due to the two-shot kills. I like the idea; it would encourage more people to work on mastering pilot.

There's absolutely no reason why we can't/shouldn't have space bounties. To me it's more like it should of already happened. NPC's - definitely, Jedi - let them work on their pilot skills (even Obi had too as much as he disliked it). It's seems fair game to me. Some say they have no advantage in space, who says they have to, or should? If they need, fly defensively and hyper out - it's a risk just like it should be everywhere! But definitely get NPC bounties going in the meantime while Jedi bounties in space can be argued over, and over, and over.

I agree, get us the NPC missions. As far as Jedi go, I personaly think if they were able to be hunted in space they should not lose any xp. Why? In space they are not Jedi. They have no Jedi powers. Sure, let us fight them for the fun of being able to still fight PC marks in space, but whether they lose any xp or not it wont matter to us. If we win we will still have had the fun and gotten the payout just like normal, and if they lose they wont have gotten the xp loss in exchange for them not being able to use force powers in space.

WoW...this is actually a good idea and if done correctly could help giving the smugglers something to smuggle. Since space is a twitch based system it would be fair for everyone. You run the risk ofa oppenent being better than you and having better systems in his ship than you have in yours.

For the jedi take the XP loss out so that they dont lose any but at the same time keep it where Space combat cannot be transfered into Force points. Again they gain no benfits but at the same time they lose none as well.

For smugglers they can smuggle goods and stuff from place to place and when they accept the mission a BH can choose to pick up the mission and bag a smuggler. This would in effect add a more RP aspect to the game. Bounty Hunters not only chased thier marks on the ground but also in space.

I give this idea 10 scooby snacks.

First I'm for no xp loss anywhere, so I agree with that Idea, makes all our lives a lot easier. But to say they are not Jedi in space is like me saying I'm not a Pistoleer (which I am), or Bounty Hunter while I'm flying in space. It's not a matter of abilities, it's a matter of Roleplay! In space they are still a Jedi, and I am still a Master BH/MPistoleer. I don't think of myself just as a pilot when I get up there, and if that were the casetheDevs wouldn't have to addSpace Smuggling for Smugglers, causeIguess they're no longer a Smuggler when they're in space. We all play on an even field in space, which is different, and would be a different level of play and risk for a Jedi, but I think they could handle that. They don't have their force powers, but I could also say I don't have my stopping shot to temporarily disable their ship for 20seconds, same difference. No lightsaber for them, noUber Scatter for me. Space is a different playing field than the ground, and we all know that.Sometimes we have to learn to play the game, or instances of the game based on Roleplay, which this game has lost a lot of, and huntingJediin space just makes that BH roleplay experience so much better. Imagine getting to chase your mark around in space, how cool. In the end I say just get rid of xp loss all together, and everything we say about this won't even be an issue (if they've gotten to Jedi and are willing to take the time, they're going to get where they want with their profession anyways).

A jedi master pilot is just the same as chef master pilot. There are no additional skills, no additional ships, no additional commands, no additional no-nothing. As much as I'd love turning them into free floating hydrogen, I can't figure out a reason to justify the substantially increased risk.

Unless exp loss in space was removed, which would reduce the risk, a lot, but that would be open to exploitation.

Totally agree and if the NPC on the ground isnt killed then he should be able to take a ship and take off into space. Either or but we should have SPACE MISSIONs in bounty hunting.
