Jedi that start losing are now doing this to me all the time. It's the MLS Defender types (known because of saber throw knockdown and aura). So what they do is they don't attack, they just regen force and mind while standing there and sometimes kneeling. So with aura up you don't do enough damage to completely take them out. They keep healing, their force regens more than they use and their mind doesn't stay down long enough to finish it.
I'm a good Jedi hunter. Jedi have a hard time killing me. I've taken out 95 of them all by myself. I run them out of force and mind because Im good with my roots and knockdowns and intimidate. I actually fight. I move, change up my attacks and put thought into it. So why reward those for the most mindless tactic?
I don't think it's right that just because of a flaw in game mechanics they can regen force faster than they use it even with heals and aura, while regening mind because other than that theyare doing nothing at all.
Is doing nothing the best tactic for a Jedi?
a MLS /prob. MDEF (Auro is NO sign for Mdef) should do that tactic only, if he knows that he cant beat you with his saber, so he regens his force, mind and action, waiting for you loosing your buffs and attack then.
As always: Jedi are NOT your CONTENT and they can chosse to fight or not. If they would gain some rewards killing you, you would see more Jedi fighting you straight ahead.
You say, this tactic is mindless? But killing a Jedi, when he is in a spingroup as tank with 10 aggro mobs on him is a better tactic? Sorry the Jedi who let you stand there and not fighting back is showing you a good lessen:
FOTM Templates are no I-Win-Button... if you cant do enough damage, rethink your equipment, your skills and your attitude
I fought this jedi straight up. He was standing with his friends not afk no animals around. I had a fwg 966 damage with a 34% damage powerup giving it about 510 min damage and only -.2 speed. My buffs ran out and he tried again but got whooped then went back to this tactic. Jedi have too many I dont lose buttons and are really just pathetic. Most of these guys if they were regular toons would not be able to hack pvp. They say get new tactics well I think the Jedi should actually have to use tactics not rely on blocking and regening force and mind. It's just stupid.
sorry but if you cant do enough dmage you a bad BH, try a kinetic weapon f.e., so he cant just stand and regen and if he still chooses to stand and do nothing learn to live with that.

LMAO, funny post, here's what you're facing: Defender > Ranged, MCM > Defender. No Jedi are invulnurable to everything, and force doesn't regen that fast, it's ridiculously slower than it used to be pre CU.
And no I'm not the FOTM Defender, just a fact that Defender can stand all day against the ranged professions. Funny that you took out 95 of them and suddenly you pick a defender that knows how to use his defenses and come make this thread?
Exactly.
MDEFs > Ranged BH's
MCM's > MDEF's
You get a CM, stick a MDEF with all his Debuffs, and then chuck on some fire and poison. The MDEF will go down hard.

FWG IS Kinetic. *sigh*
But truly its the Jedi's option to not fight and maintain his force pool for the option of pressing the attack when the odds are in HIS favor. If you cant out damage his defenses enough to cause him to bleed force, then perhaps it's time to move on to another mark unless you want to fight for hours.
And the whole Jedi LamePvpers that cant hack because they are loser Jedi is getting old Nate... the same could be said of the guys with the uber mindfires and legendary weapons pre cu.

A new winner for stupidest comment of the day. The Devs purposely upped force regen because creatures hit alot harder now and we tend to do more combat moves to kill the same creature now as we did PRE-CU.
Guess you should just learn some new tactics.
So the devs intended to make Jedi invulnerable by just standing there because animals hit harder and you don't find that flawed? Oh you said "we tend to do more combat moves" so you're a jedi. You probably use this tactic and think it makes you LEET.
Seriously Mr. jedi come kill me.
Tell me your on ahazi ill do it
your post is flawed my heals and mind dont regen fast enough to stand there and regen maybe iim missing something here or your leaving something out maybe they are useing infusion not heal?

I watched this fight for about an hour and a half. You could have had him with a bit more effort than just spamming quickshot and ranged shot with a damage pup. Also...you didn't bother to pop another accuracy food/drink so you're damage output was null.
The guy laid on his back after being KDed for several minutes...every time you KDed him. I really don't know how you didn't beat him when he was almost out of mind. and on his back for most of the fight. Hell, I had to show him how to setup a kd recovery macro during the fight cause his icon wasn't working....
The least you could do was tofit your gun with a speed pup and hammer away with quickshot/rangedshot. (and drink some damn southern comfort, it has more uses than just getting you laid)
I've dealt with the same crap from an MLS MDEF healer template. Quickshot/Rangedshot is a Pistoleers uber dot w/ speed pup. Combined with a well placed KD/special nubcake spam, you can do well against these types.
*Reason why he decided not to go into combat was because he had his grind saber on him and didn't realize he could switch pearls in combat. If you would have waited 2 more minutes he would have fought.
I agree that thisis a lame tactic, but I still don't think your counter was very good. Try carrying a droid schematic with youfor these "special" occasions when extra damage is required.
Just wait till you get those Jedi that spam stasis and run away. Irritating and basically nothing you can do. (unless you can find a low cl npc to attack you)
And thats an exploit!

Ok, I know this will be difficult for you, but your gonna have to put away that CDEF pistol that you got as a noob. When you play with the big dogs, you need better weapons.
Come on people, realy, when a BH comes after me, and 10 seconds to a minute later he is dead, thats insulting. Take a little pride in yourself and your profession. Get a decent weapon. Get decent armor. Get your armor AB sliced. Above all, LEARN TO PLAY YOUR BH CHARACTER. It is da-mn disgusting when a BH has to ask a Jedi to teach him how to fight his marks, after he just got schooled by the same Jedi.
The problem with Nathanielstarr seems to be that he keeps coming light when he gets a Jedi mission. He obiously knows nothing about his profession, and its requirements. If you are not doing enough damage to a Jedi, then the answer is obvious: Get a better gun, and evaluate your tactics.
In conclusion, I find it extreemly disapointing that a person with a post count of 3497 (OP) could have absolutly no clue about the game mechanics.
Then again, he may be ebayed.
Calling a droid is an exploit if its in my inventory? Ok, call the sucker out from your datapad. Happy?
Nate is not a nubcake. He's got a good rep for killing Jedi. One of the top 3 on my server...so I've been told.
