what do you guys think makes a good bounty hunter? We as a prof are spose to be assasins, killers if you will.

Yet everytime i go after my jedi mark who is Grinding and low on force, or is pvping in theed and already being hit and has his health half down and i kill them, guess what?

I get tells on how i suck as a BH and they didnt have full force or wasnt prepared!

well ummmm, last time i checked we where spose to kill them not gather a crowd and fight them in a pit fight to the death .

Seriously would a sniper in wartime come out of hiding and say hey im going to attempt to snipe you get ready!

BUt yet it amases me that everytime i do my job right and be sneaky and crafter and kill my mark the way a BH should i get tells on how i suck .

and i have tested it i have told a jedi before attacking to prepare i had his misson, he did the duel thing and found it to be true so he popped foods ect ect and then i asked if he was ready.

He said yes so we found and naturely i was killed.

Guess what i got a tell saying, how i was such a good BH and all this kiss arse BS.

SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT

JEDI THINK .........

IF THEY ARE ASSASINED BECUASE OF THERE LACK OF FOCUS AND BECAUSE THE BH WAS ABLE TO STAY HIDDEN AND STRIKE AT THE RIGHT TIME WHEN HE KILLS HIS MARK HE THEN IS A NOOB.

BUT IF HE CHALLENGES HIS MARK LETS THE MARK KNOW HES GOT HIS MISSON AND THEN FIGHTS AND LOSES HES A GREAT BH.

If you HUNT them (part of our profession name Mr.Jedi!) and kill them at the right moment, they call you a n00b.

and if you run in bells n whistles firing at them, then they call you a n00b with no tactics

Damned if you do, damned if you dont. Jedi are crap at playing normal professions, its why they opted for /cheatmode er.... i mean jedi.

I take everything each one of them says with a laugh and a *rolleyes*

It's like one of those tiny yapping dogs. Give it some mr.meaty dogfood and it's happy. That's why the devs spend most patches putting something in for them. that's their mr.meaty dogfood equivolent.

It's so true. Jedi is for those that want to pvp but otherwise wouldn't be able to.

Nothing the original poster did was wrong.

If I were caught with 25% of my force, or 20% of my health since I was dueling/pvping in theed. Then it was my own stupidity and carelessness that caused me to die. Not some noob. (Not directed at any BH or the poster, just a general statement)

If the BH started mouthing off after dying, then the hate shall begin. but in all my interactions with bh so far, they have been very nice and courteous.

Ok folks let me explain something here. 90% of posts on the jedi/bh thing turns into a flame and the main reason why is because some people generalize. It is not true AT ALL that you must be in high school to be able to grind jedi, you just have to dedicate your in game time to grinding jedi and nothing else. It is not true that ALL jedi are people that can't pvp or can't play a normal toon, that is ignorant. Especially since you don't know every jedi. Back in the day a few months after launch I had people posting about how if you go BH you can't pvp and just use eye shot. That statement is not true either.

What makes a good BH? Well some one that kills their mark and either has respect for them when they talk or does not talk to them at all. If you lose you don't talk trash and whine and moan and blah blah blah.

By the way, if you changed the word BH for jedi and jedi for BH in the above statement then that would also apply as to what makes a good jedi.

Before you call me a troll I should tell you that I am a BH and a jedi. I CAN pvp with a normal toon although I choose not to because of the child like additude of alot of people.

a good bounty hunter is one that can use the given skills he has at his disposale and find a clever way to defeat a challanging apponante...not one that cries nerf.

ok u say that Jedis take the "Cheatmode" option..... YET..... They cant wear armour, there dmg aint brill, they can only jedi heal every 6 seconds, shall i go on.... Jedi is a hard grind for omething that can be killed so easy.........

Actually, this is on both sides of the fence.

As a BH, you should do what you need to do to kill your mark. Catch him in the middle of combat in Theed, grinding on Tatooine, or just shopping for furniture.

I am a jedi AND a BH, and I say do this, too. It's your job.

Now, on the OTHERside of this, are the whiner BHs.

I am not afraid to say I have ran into a guild-only structure to keep from being killed. And I get things like "You should come out andfight, yer a noob jedi for hiding."

Well, first, yeah, I am a noob jedi. And I have nothing to gain and everything to loose, so get over it, I saw you first, you lost your mark.

Or if I actually fight, since I still have master rifles, I get "Stop using your rifle! use your saber! you're the worst jedi ever!"

LOL

So yeah, Jedi should stop whining about being caught unawares, and BHs should stop whining about us running, orwhiping out a rifle to defend ourselves instead of laying down and dying.

Wrong.

It is not our fault that you gathered enough visibility to get on the mission terms. We are killing you because it is our job to do so, nothing more, nothing less. If you have a problem with dying then don't get visible and get on the terms. Just a hint: It's not supposed to be easy to play a Jedi. You're supposed to hunt in seclusion where nobody will know you're a Jedi.

Swing that saber around where people can see you and you will wind up with a mark on your head. If that happens a Bounty Hunter will eventually take that mark and come after you.

If that Bounty Hunter is me I will not be rude, intolerant or grief you. I will, however, make sure you die by any means necessary. It is my job, and I take it seriously.

It's possible to be polite about it. I never shoot my mark an insulting message, even if they survive (re: kill me). I am always respectful and I always ignore rude comments sent my way after killing my mark.

YOU chose to be overt about being a Jedi instead of being a Jedi in secret.

Thus it is your fault, not mine, that you are on the mission terminal.
