Thread: What makes a good Bounty Hunter?

Actually, this is on both sides of the fence.
As a BH, you should do what you need to do to kill your mark. Catch him in the middle of combat in Theed, grinding on Tatooine, or just shopping for furniture.
I am a jedi AND a BH, and I say do this, too. It's your job.
Now, on the OTHERside of this, are the whiner BHs.
I am not afraid to say I have ran into a guild-only structure to keep from being killed. And I get things like "You should come out andfight, yer a noob jedi for hiding."
Well, first, yeah, I am a noob jedi. And I have nothing to gain and everything to loose, so get over it, I saw you first, you lost your mark.
Or if I actually fight, since I still have master rifles, I get "Stop using your rifle! use your saber! you're the worst jedi ever!"
LOL
So yeah, Jedi should stop whining about being caught unawares, and BHs should stop whining about us running, orwhiping out a rifle to defend ourselves instead of laying down and dying.
LOL if a Jedi whips out a rifle against me he's going to die. End of story

But in general I agree with you. If my mark runs into a house I will usually go off and do other things and try him again later. Or I will silently shop in the area or whatever till I see him leave the building.
I never give my mark a hard time. That is just immature and unprofessional.

LOL
well, my temp for that guys is MRifles/BH 0010 for the KD shot, 2000 healer, and 1000 enhancer.
rifle with 1159 max dmg, plus the ranged acc and ranged speed mods from the FS trees
But yeah, I have been beaten. 3-1 against BHs. last guy that fought me had better heals, and I ran out of force..lol
can I say this? I was PSSSSSDDDDDD!!! LOL
But I didn't send one hate tell. He was same faction, though, so he did put his guild's Jedi up for hunts from our guild's BHs

What makes a good BH? Well some one that kills their mark and either has respect for them when they talk or does not talk to them at all. If you lose you don't talk trash and whine and moan and blah blah blah.

Then, you, sir, are part of the problem, not the solution, and in probably the only SWG group I personally have a problem with.
Regardless of what your profession is, or what someone else's profession is, it is a real person sitting at that keyboard. A person that pays their 15.00 a mth (per account) just like you do. A person who has put his real and valuable time into getting a character that they like, one that they havea real emotional investment in.
If this were my game, a$$hats like you would be perma-banned as soon as you opened your immature mouth and spouted off immature and predjudiced statements such as this.

I'm sorry, is this not a ROLE PLAYING GAME? I didn't say I didn't respect the person behind the keyboard, I said I didn't respect Jedi. You speak as if Jedi are real people.
Geez, Mr. Senstivity.

The person playing the Jedi is a real person.
I will apologize for the last post, but may want to specify in the future "from an RP perspective." There are actually a few kids on here who feel safe behind a toon over the internet, and so try and take out there repressed $exual frustrations and adolescent anger out on others.
Your first sentance led me to believe you were one of those.
I stand corrected, sir.

It's ok, no harm intended. And it was nice to get a reply.
Personally, as much as anyone (myself included) may b!tch about the feud between jedi and bh, I do enjoy the tension as I feel it adds to the gameplay. At the end of the day we're all just trying to have fun, and if getting angry towards another profession adds to the immersion, then it's not all bad.
