To be epitome in your ranged attack master as many ranged skills as you can... and forget about others. Just master what you WANT first ie MBH or whichever you'll see BH has alot of accuracy and speed mods in there. Then look at what you can learn and choose from the best mods you can. Top this off with a krayted/ADK'ed all purpose weapon and your set to hunt.
I think I understand you. So, after mastering bounty hunter and looking at my actual stats, I should decide from there what to do. I do have one question for you, though. When you say "master as many ranged skills as you can", does this mean I should diversify my skill and stats (therefore, mastering marksman), or that I should specialize and amplify the speed and accuracy already given from being a bounty hunter (therefore, mastering an elite ranged profession)?

CM ~ MBH... even defenders cant stand up to it.... literally..
Such a combination is one of the few that made me question my earlier decision. However, how excatly does this combination work. From what I've seen, combat medics are, essentially, only able to lay stat penalties on their opponents. I'm not trying to downplay combat medics, but they don't seem to have actual attacking abilities, if I make myself clear. How would you fight using this line-up? Also, what do you mean "defenders"?

my experiance has been mbh/master commando/medic + ruby bliel and stims are best. DoT's from commando weapons are awesome, and it makes a nice PVP template since you can quickly area KD/snare a crowd. You WILL need to heal, because the DoT's take time, and you can't flight forever. I've noticed what works best is an opening snare equipting your favorite rifle, run in with flamethrower, set fire, run back, equip said rifle, and flight like hell. Heal when needed, and keep applying roots/kd. The fire DoT will constantly wear down the mark, usually countering infusion atleast, and you will be firing away with a rifle (hopefully) at a safe distance. This is my strategy with my alt and it has worked well for me, anyway.
I think I've heard this combination and this stratagey before. It does sound interesting and farily unique. Do you put more emphasis on medic or marksman? I ask becuase you clearly state the need to heal, but you also seem to rely heavily on using a rifle. Although both bounty hunter and commando are combat professions, marksman skills, or better yet, rifleman skills, would greatly increase damage done by any rifle. However, increased marksman skills would decrease medic skills. Which did you choose?

So, the suggestion is to mix bounty hunter with being a jedi/sith? I hadn't though of that. Would be interesting to see, too. I'll look into it.
the people i know says it doesnt work the best...but good luck bud

For The Win, are you really this noobish?
not everyone is dorky like us
Master Bounty Hunter, Master Carbineer, Combat Medic 4/0/0/0
A nice all round template. Need to be careful round full templated Jedi though.
OK, my temp is MBH, MRifles, MMarks, Pistols 0003. I am considering dropping mastermarks and marks carbines to replace with medic 0020 for heals. I like my temp for the following reasons:
MRifles means I can use cover to crawl into range without my mark knowing I'm there. I can then use Adv Aim followed by Adv Sniper Shot for a really big first hit.
Pistols 0003 means I have stopping shot, so I can hopefully root my mark, keeping him more than 32m away (saber throw range). Kneecap from rifles also helps kite (it is a snare), along with underhand shot (KD) from BH.
The following attacks all do good dam: Adv Crit - BH, Adv headshot - Rifleman, Torso Shot (bleed) - BH, Adv Sniper Shot - Rifleman.
This all suits me and the way I like to hunt (using stealth followed by a high dam first hit, then kite til incap).
If you prefer to try and go toe to toe with your mark, you should take CM or Doc skills, cos you will need the healing. CM has some nice dots to help you too.
There are of course other options, like CH, etc. but I've never tried em, so can't really comment other than to say some folk make em work really well.
So, you should decide how you want to hunt, then choose profs and skillboxes that give you the abilities and stats you need to hunt that way.
