True, but that means my only option versus this move is to Stasis and Force run away. While if this had been an actual bounty missions, I could have done this, my point is that this 1 move wipes out my primary abilties instantly and indefinately. I have no problem with the function of disarming shot, my problem is that you can chain it together to limit your opponent to 5 attack rounds per minute. Just the same way that a root is fine, the problem is when you are ranged and chain them together, resulting in much the same effect. In both cases you become immune from the attacker, however one does have a back door in the shape of switching to a ranged weapon or using ranged attacks and the other has no counter other than to run for the hills.

WE haven't even mentioned that by choosing to not take defense, all power to you, you chose to rely more one groups. You as a Msaber, Menhancer are a great group character, but can be hurt solo

I accept being hurt solo, that doesn't bother me. I don't accept not being able to attack at all, save for 1 or 2 rounds every 30 seconds. My point here, is that 1 special (disarming shot) and one special alone, is enough to nullify ALL of my skills to the point where I have to run away. Do you think this is fair?
EDIT:
If you apply this to a Master Defender with Improved Aura build, the result is an indefinate dead lock. The Jedi simply doesn't get enough attack rounds to do any telling attacks on the bounty hunter, the damage of disarming shot, when mitigated by Defender defences, added with the healing properties of Infusion, means that the Jedi can heal all the damage at a cost of 10 force, which is also regenerated before he needs to use infusion agian.

Disarming is most effective vs a Knocked Down target. Even then spamming the thing doesn't do enough damage to do you any good as the attacker. It's a Mez and should be left as is.
Some, not all, of you really need to think about some of the stuff you ask for as they relate to other professions. I'm not some anti-jedi BH or anything but I do feel when it's all said and done the Jedi are going to be the cause of their own downfall. If things keep going the way they are going you'll eventually turn the entire non-Jedi population against you. That along with all the infighting is what will hurt Jedi most...just my humble opinion.

I think it is perfectly fair and I think that almost any other jedi could have countered this. I am a fairly new padawan and I already know that you could have turned on FR3 ran a way and regrouped your thoughts. You also could have used that 1 or 2 actions every 30 seconds (BTW that means you had 20-40 actions in your duel) to lay a stasis on him. I don't think that because it can be used well by a good player is a good enough reason to nerf it

That's part of the problem with a lot of new Jedi, they have little to no experience in PvP, something that is more or less required if you want to have a good time as a Jedi.

Thassk dont worry. I think most of the jedi have agreed that this is not an issue for us
