Here's another issue.


With all the /respec'rs running out of Kadaara,many will grab the first Arakyd that drops, regardless if it is theirs or not. This at times causes the droids that later dropto become bugged for the person whose droid was ganked, meaning that person can not access any of these droids. The mission has to be dropped. I suggest adding a text line saying that the droid called by a specific BH can only be accessed by the BH that called it from orbit.

There is no such issue, probes can't be stolen.

Not sure if this is already posted in this thread but...NPC marks spawn in large bodies of water and when I get within 200m or so they poof with a Mission Incomplete msg. The system knows where water is, can't something be done to keep marks from locating in large bodies of water?

Think of that as practice, mate. I have yet to find an NPC mark that is as tough to beat as your "average" jedi. I've had NPC's that have killed me 3 times before I finally figured 'em out and put 'em down, and I think it's GREAT! Who wants to go to all the trouble to find the stupid mark just to waltz up, pop im in the head two or three times, loot 'im and walk away? In fact, if I was in charge, I'd make it so that a bounty hunter couldn't take a jedi mission until he's taken down at least one <<84>> NPC.

This happens to me all the time. Whenever I get a mission like that I just cancel it. It happens more often on mission that are located on Naboo and Coreila for me.

First off, they need to fix the whole BH vs Jedi... it should be BH vsJedi, smugglers, and anyonethat doesn't stayfor searches (give them an actual reason to stay for them). Make it just like thejedi missions, where you don't see the target's name, but also make it where you don't see the targets profession (for non-jedi). Also, what about space bounties? Let us find our bounty in space, disable their ship, dock and complete the mission that way! The whole "BH vs Jedi" gets old. It really does. Plus it brings a bit more of the PvP aspect back to SWG.

This should not be issue #1, it should be issues 5 through 1 until it is fixed. It cuts right to the heart of the integrity of the hunting process. The whole concept of BH's retaining first-strike advantage is negated at the moment, almost in entirety.

I dont know if this has been reported here, I havent been reading the thread.

My seeker droids repeatedly (not allways but on random ocasions) do not return target name if it is a jedi bounty. Sometimes they do, sometimes they repeatedly don't - they just update waypoint once. In this case, when you send them off you dont get the 'biological .... receive" message at the beginning (no message at all).


Anyone else getting this?

Yes,

Seekers routinely do NOT return name UNLESS you are "close enough" to the mark.

My guess is that it is a server boundary issue, that you need to be within the same server boundary as your mark. Ive had the name returned from as far out as 2km away and sometimes even within 1km Ive gotten nothing.

HUGH issue with force cloak for your Jedi Bounty target.


Jedi i was fighting today and i was shooting happily simply does KD on me, then walks half a meter behind a wall and force cloaks. This means my bounty target disappears and stays hidden until he desides to pop out of his cloak and try to kill me. Fight goes on for 3 more minutes and his lost alot of health, mind and almost all his action bars and KD, walk behind building, cloak.


Now with no way to bring a jedi out of cloak other than make hundreds of mobs surround the area that will drain his force pool, and jedi being able to almost hide in plain sight, you just cant kill a jedi with cloak without group attacking them, what it now really hard to get the same mission on the same jedi, and even then he will just step behind a shrub and disappear.


3ways IMOO to solve this...


1) Give bounty hunters a flushing shot. A shot that does no damage or little damage but performs a limited range (maybe like a cone shot or AOE melee type of area) that will hit the jedi and force him to uncloak.


2) only allow jedi to cloak IF they havnt been hit for X ammount of time (maybe 1 minute).


3) only allow jedi to cloak IF they are X distance away from an agro'd target or BH who has a mission on them (though of course if they are cloaked before the bounty hunter starts on them they are fine to remain cloaked).


also i would like to seebounty hunters given a way to group hunt jedi who have very high visability, as at the moment all the jedi run around all day in mining outpost showing off their skills, and know they will be on the bounty boards from visability, but after a point they just dont have to care anymore as reguardless of what they do their visability isnt going to go down.


Oryou could have a system that means jedi with VERY VERY high visability are just that well known to the bounty hunters guild that you do not need to take a mission to attack them as almost all BH would have heard about the person and got a piccy of him or her as a wanted target.
