I dissagree, but only slightly. If the Bounty Hunter were Neutral, then there would be no problem in terms of a Base being dropped. The reason I only disagree slightly is that it almost forces Bounty Hunters out of GCW to be able to hunt Jedi. I think there should be some mechanism for a BH to Infiltrate a Faction Base (maybe even thru assistance from another profession) so the single mark can be attacked. I doubt that will happen tho.
I have a question tho. If a Bounty Hunter is "On Leave", and enters the vacinity of an EnemyFaction Base, does theBase still attack you?
how about some duel pistols or something. maybe even a camera on ur seeker droids 2 actually watch what ur target is doing atm
Bria - BHS - "thats how i roll"

Still waiting for the rationale on why BH get this ability, so far you have provided none and rapidly left threads when it is mentioned.
Block damage, maybe. Reflect damage when Jedi cannot, what movies were you watching?
Hillarious

Its a duelist snapshot. The message that floats over our heads (and comes back in the combat spam) is that we "return fire". Y'know... snapping off a quick shot as we dodge. It's not a damage reflect, its a reactive damage proc... and I think it should be at 25% of our normal weapon damage... not 25 points period.
I don't think that Neutral players get to enter GCW bases either... haven't run Neutral since the first day of Live tho'. I'll have to check that out on an alt.

- What is the difference if we find out the marks name as soon as we get to the planet, or until we get within 1000m? It just makes us have to stop and Prep for the hunt twice, instead of just once... small change, but don't really understand why it is this way.
- Kashhyk- A waste of a droid, and the time it takes to run out of the city. If we can't hunt on Kashyyk without an Alt as a Ranger, why not list the Kashhyk missions as such on the terms so we can pick other ones?
- Can't knockdown recovery while knocked down. THE MOST ANNOYING BUG IN THE GAME. Wounds and Item decay should be turned off until this is fixed.
- Cloakers that Cloak and uncloak as a fighting technique. Simple fix: Make a Jedi that cloaks lose the ability to attack the Bounty Hunter until the Bounty Hunter reinstigates the fight. That gives them the ability to escape (what cloak is intended for) but gives the BH the first attack advantage they are suppose to have.
What really annoys me is Jedi taking duels and purposefully letting themselves be deathblowedto avoid being killed by BH.
Now I know that is what was intended.
The should make it when you TEF your Jedi target if they die then the mission is complete and they suffer the same penalty as if you killed them. So if they try to purposefully die in a duel if you hit them just once and they die you still get the bounty.
Also they should let us take BH mission is groups of two and make it so they only two people can take the same mission so at max only 4 BH can be after any one Jedi.

The problem is that there are still quite a few MBH's that can kill jedi. As long as this remains, the devs won't fix everything (even the exploits) that they jedi are using because if they did fix all those bugs/exploits then the jedi would probably end up quitting thus causing SOE to lose alot of money being that there are ALOT of jedi on all servers. So what SOE is trying to do is give BH's other content to do to make them happy and forget about those exploits. I completely agree that they are wrong and should be fixed. In ANY other MMORPG if this kind of exploiting was happening it would get fixed IMMEDIATELY or in the next patch. The devs KNOW about these exploits because a ton of people are complaining every day about them but as you can see, nothing is being done about them. The AFK jedi grinding on ryatt trail was supposed to be fixed but as it turns out they have only made it easier for jedi to do this in publish 21.
There are a few BIG exploits that are causing alot of headache and few of them are:
- The /duel /endduel bug
- When a jedi is getting stomped and goes incap, another jedi friend will DB him to avoid xp loss and to avoid the BH getting paid. THIS IS RIDICULOUS, and should be fixed right away. Has it? No. You have to question why.
The devs know about it and can fix it but they don't. Now tell me...why do you think that is?
