QFE - many people compare jedi too much with BH and other professions, jedi is not like other professions, its harder and then also more powerful as it should be. Since there are so many jedi, they have to make it weaker of course (and they have) since non-jedi wont have any fun if there are so many they cant do anything against.
Sorry, but this isn't going to happen. You cannot justify making people go through that ungodly village grind, then through the full-template grind which takes even longer (imagine doing the investigation tree 10 times armed with only a CDEF carbine and with people after youwho can erase the last 5 missions you did on a whimand you get what it's like to do a Jedi template) then suddenly saying "Oh! We changed our minds. Sorry, but yourmonths of training and working hard for the Jedi Knight title are now going to put you on the level of the Master Pistoleer who can reach his template in under a week. Have a nice day!

Well I unpacked the box and loaded up the expansion, and low and behold *My nice clean scout trooper armour pant suddenly had a yellow tinge to them*, Seem's this BH is doing somthing into the wind!

Some people could very easily say you are just being greedy and imposing your game play onto others. Also you create a laggy game and just waste time when you could just as easily log off and back on. Really, I think you can tell the difference between AFK macroing and AFK macroing to waste someone's time, piss them off and take away content from the game that is supposed to be there for that other player. And yes, It is your job to be my content if you are a Jedi according to the people who made this game.

Sorry, Jedi is supposed to be hard and take a long time to get to it.. If you want to put in the time and effort to be a Jedi then do so but don't complain about BH and don't waste someone else'stime because you don't agree with it being in the game.
What this seems to boil down to from a lot of the reply's here is Jedi wanting an easy tick and trying to annoy BH's into not getting the Jedi missions. Sorry if you don't think that is wrong but i imagine you would if someone was imposing their profession onto you. And really, Don't nag to us about BH's hunting you. Nag to Lucas Arts.
And for all that was said by the both of you, Neither gave me a good reason why you should be allowed to sit in a house AFK for several hours on end wasting others time other then "Because i want to"

People who can't handle dissapointment should never become a BH. Last I checked I'm the one that goes to the terminal and decides whether I want to hunt a real player or an NPC. Being the BH I'm the one that does the hunting they haveno obligation to fight me if they don't want to. Its my job to catch them off guard and kill them. If I wanted an easy kill I would be doing NPC missions.
Respectable jedi to troll in one publish.

Why are you a Jedi when you know you are going to be hunted? Sounds like you picked the wrong job, all things considered.
And thank you for proving my point... That is exactly why people shouldn't be allowed to do it. You aren't accomplishing anything good for you char or anyone else. Your just trying to piss off a BH by using an exploit. Hey, Atleast you are honest about it.

Tell you what...the minute there is some benefit to fighting you I will gladly step outside and plant you in the dust. Otherwise you get to put up with my AFKness or when I decide to log on to justchat.

And you guys still wonder why all the BH / Jedi hate? It's not only about the BH attitude but it's also about the Jedi atitude. If people stopped being so childish to the point of saying "Cry more n00b" and instead started giving some constructive criticism I think the game and the players would benefit from it. It's sad that people will do anything just to annoy the opposing party.
I was a BH but I didn't "grief" my marks (well, only once when the mark said that would pay me if I incapped and he didn't and then I chased him around Lok for 1h untill I got the DB) but I generally dont flame / send hate tells or do anything just to piss them off.
On the contraire, if you read the Jedi forums you can read how jedi always try to piss off the bounty hunters. They sit AFK in their houses to piss them off (well, 1% might not be to piss the BHs off but from what I've read, Jedi are actually proud for doing this).
Others will do other stuff such as the friendly duel / db exploit. And I read in this thread somewhere that a jedi would deny all BHs pvp "just out of spite"?
What's up with the idiotic and childish attitude? I'm not saying that all Jedi are like this, nor that no BH acts childish, and my opinion might be a bit biased since I was a BH before I cancelled my account.
But really, why don't the players compromise? I kinda agree that a jedi should be able to get some saftyness in their house to go AFK for a few minutes but staying for more than 30 mins afk in a house? Thats just childish.

The constructive criticism was given and utterly ignored. In fact the orginal poster is almost like rubber when it comes to logical arguments bouncing clean off him without any acknowledgement whatsoever. Its human nature to get steamed about such singlemindedness.
