I see that this thread isnt going anywhere, and that the OP is frustrated with Jedi house sitters. So Im going to tell what I myself do as to not waste alot of time house sitting.

Get mission, track mark..blah blah blah. But I myselfalways stop about 3k away from mymarks waypoint. Simply stop, dont move at all, and wait. Let you seeker droid update and take note of the wp number. Let it update a few times. If that wp number changes by even a small number, then you Jedi mark is At The Keyboard, and is moving around. He could be in his house rearanging furniture or out Grinding. But its now up to you to determine wich, and wether or not to attack.

--If the WP number is not changing, and you suspect that your target my be in a house, press Ctrl+V, and take a look at theplanetary map. Look to see if you targets WP is located in a city. If it is, then your target is more than likely AFK in his house burning off Vis. So there you go. Within a few minutes you have now determined that you mark is AFK in a house. Personally, I dont mind pitching a camp, and sitting around for 30 minutes to see if my mark moves. The Jedi may betaking a break to eat dinner. But thats just me. You always have the option of dropping a mission for a Jedi that is AFK, and its really not that hard to tell.

you know there is a way too fool you with that theory right... i could go to the roof top of my guild hall grab my droid and set up some patrol points have my droid run on patrol and have my jedi follow my droid

and there my friend you have an afk macro jedi with no macro running and that moves around to fool you thinking he is not afk

no need for a macro remove them if you wish

lol

P.S. Jargo your next post should be about removing droids from the game.... lol

Well sure, but how many Jedi actually do that. And if the BH decides to attack, he'll see that the Jedi is in a structure and can move on. The main point of my post was that there are basic ways to tell, and that you dont have to house sit for six hours regardless if the Jedi is AFK or not.

BH is here to make things harder on you and make less Jedi. So yes, You could say we are population police lol And yes, There have become too many Jedi and yes BH is supposed to make it hard for you Jedi and yes a few people are supposed to give up or quite the professionfrom it being hard to be a Jedi.. Three tons of fan boys have come into the game and they seem to think the name on the game disk is Star Wars: A Jedi's galaxy.. Sorry kids, Its not.

I'm not saying don't go AFK in a house but i am saying don't sit in a house for hours on end doing nothing and claim its just fine and your not doing it to piss of a BH because i think simple logic dictates otherwise. It is all speculation on everyone's part but when someone is simply ina house for 5 hours + it doesn't take a genius to figure things out. I agree people should be able to craft and just enjoy their homes in general but its very easy to tell the difference and it will be easy for them to tell the difference in what people are doing when they check out the server logs and what people are out doing online. It wont be hard to see who has set up a useless macro to stay logged in while sitting in a home and who hasnt.. And i wont mention the bandwidth you eat up. We all are already paying 15 bucks a month for this game i don't think it needs to be more expensive then it already is because some Jedi want to piss of a BH.

How exactly do you make "less jedi"? Also, I pay a monthly fee with no upload or download limit on my cable modem, so out goes the paying for bandwidth idea.

...Posting rants on these forums is like a rocking chair; it gives you something to do, but it doesn't get ya anywhere... write that down.

Oh for Pete's sake grow up and pull another mission. Leave AFK Jedi alone in their homes. Thank god the devs are not so stupid they would fall for your garbage.

The number of people on line effect the bandwidth of Sony, not your modem.

You make less Jedi by making things harder for Jedi.

You said all that but you didn't intelligently debate one point. Congratulations on a waste of a post.

If your agrument was intelligent in the first place it would be worthy of debate. But what you seek is a way to grief. People like you are ruining the game for others. Afk Jedi are not ruining the game. DarkStarRa: Woohoo! I get to pick a lock and kill and afk Jedi! People like you are incredible.

So stuff it pal. BTW I don't usually go off and flame people but you sure deserve it. Like I said Grow up and pull another mission. Move along.

Well, That shows exactly how much you are involved in this conversation, I never said anything about picking a lock and if you would notice my posts before i said i didn't even hunt Jedi and did NPC missions to get rich. If i where going to have an answer for the prob i would boot people who use useles macro's in home after say an hour or so.

I would suggest knowing what people are talking about before you try to but in with your flames.

Whoo hoo you told me! The OP was talking about picking locks and you think what you suggest is any better? Why don't you just MYOB and leave who ever wants to be AFK in their home alone. Regardless of the method you seek to use to go about it people like you need to just leave other players ALONE.

Go pull another Mission and get over it...you got plenty of Jedi that are not AFK to go after.

Again, You give nothing to debate but cheep flames... Grow up or go to bed, You have school tomorrow probably.

I think an hour or two more then enough time to be AFK in a home and i see no good reason for more.. Would you like to give me one good reason why people should be AFK for more then two hours in a home? And would you like to give me one bad thing that could happen fromsomeone being booted after beingAFK for an hour or two in a safe spot while obviously doing nothing?Without flames (Which you so obviously don't often give)

Ya know what, when you pay my 14.99, then you can dictate to me how I play my game. Til then, if I want to afk macro my jedi online while im playing another toon then I will do so.If you dont like it, respec out of bh into another profession that doesnt have to deal with it. And if you dont want to respec, then bloody well deal with it, because thats just the facts. Just as I dont have the right to tell you how to play, nor do you have the right to tell me. AFK macroing has not been deemed illegal by soe and as such, any player is capable of freely doing it(and contrary to what you might think, this means jedi too). IF you think it affecting your content, oh well, its not my job to be your content, so get over yourself.
