I had FD when I started grinding, it is great if you are in the middle of grinding and need to get up from the keyboard for any reason.

That's exactly what I use it for. What else are you going to do when grinding and you need to take a leak?

You guys do realize you can achieve the exact same thing you're looking for by:

A. Stacking

B. Never getting yourself into a situation you cannot get out of

C. Never getting on the terms...

xp I've saved from not dying due to having feign death = millions and counting.

Very useful for afk breaks, too. Engage mob, feign, take your break. I'll drop my tk skills before I lose that lifesaver.

Same here

I've died to BHs sure, but the xp I've saved w/ BH makes up for the xp lost x10

My pre-jedi template of choice

TKM, FD, Medic 0140, Fencer 3000.

I can heal my own wounds, power boost, force of will.

I can use TKM to fight if I need to.

I can use Stim D's.

I have plenty of defense.

I agree. I never got Feign. And I have never needed it. I am about to the point in my grind where I would have to drop it anyways, so I am glad I didnt waste my time getting it.

With more people finding out how to break FD it is becoming less useful against BH's. It can get you out of trouble with creatures though.

I need some advice please...... I am going into jedi trials in a couple of days ..

Currently my template is master swords/master brawler medic 2040/scout 3000

How advantageous would it be for me to drop all of scout and medic to novice and pick up feign death instead?

I appreciate any advice and the reasons for it ... Thank you

tka 4.0.0.4, FD, medic + scout is a great setup.

Anyone who doesnt say feign death is good - doesnt live with an angry wife and 2 kids who neeed attention every now and then ....

I never had to use FD on a BH - and i doubt it would do any good (just get killed and get ressed, and stay off the terms) But i used it numerious times when the wife or kids called..

I guess its just the pre-patch 9 mentality. I wasn't that old prior to patch 9 going live but I can say, I never had it either and I have survived. There are so many more skills that are even more helpful comparitively. TKM+MFencer. 4xx4 tka, 44xx Fencer with some Doc. Whatever...

Feign is not a needed skill. It just seems to be the "bail out" button for so many jedi that aren't serious about the grind. If you get yourself into a situation where you needed it, doesn't that say something about your risk taking or judgement? I wish more people were like you Nez. Maybe then Smugglers could get a little bit more respect. The same could be said about Jedi and BH'ers at that point.

And people wonder why we have bad reps? Its the win at all costs mentality. (Word to FD'ers, you don't need the skill to make it to knight)

Thank you , each one of you for your responses! I have never had FD, used to be a master doc, so decided to go for it and give it a try. Check it out for myself. I totally agree, if I need it often .. I am doing something wrong. Dropping it will be a must as I earn more boxes. Been in SWG for 18 months, never did the grind, but, now would like to try FD. So, to that end, started pistol training today, earned all 4 pistol boxes and also novice Smugglar. So, am I serious? You betcha!

Again, thank you one and all *hug*
