Ryatt trail is AWAY from the public, not ruining ANYONE's immersion... and getting the viz, so if you don't like them there, grab a mission and do something about it instead of whinning about it on the forums. You know full well where they are, so tracking them is not even an issue, just grab and go...that easy.
If that is too hard for you, then you are a n00b cookie cutter BH, end of story.
and get master smuggler and use LD on them as an opening attack when the BH gets to the spot?

As pointed out several times: The problem is not the special itself, the problem is using the special as an opening move.
This can only be done by BHs, any non-BH smuggler has to be Special Forces to use LD on another player, and I doubt anybody would try to get artificially low health while under enemy fire.
This is why this discussion belongs in the BH boards - it only is about BHs using a special in a certain way, not about the special in general.
LOL, well it is a smuggler move and if you want it changed/fixed whatever you call it then you should take it there. Taking it here is only gonna lead to a long boring flame fest. Bottom line is there is no way to say that some one can/cannot use a skill that they have as the first attack. LOL, this is just silly. Stupid jedi.

You missed the point of this whole thread. People are saying that a) the skill is not working as intended (it is bugged) and b) that some BHs are using this bug to gain an advantage. It is here since it is a BH / Jedi thing and not a smuggler thing in general. Everybody using what some people feel is not working as intended to their advantage _is_ a BH, so it belongs here.

Gillik, did you not read the opening post above? timit said he saw the BH and made preparations, got himself ready before the BH returned a a fewmoments later and was still 1 hit incapped. No one is suggesting he should just take food/drink etc etc all the time, not even him .I have asked for details of the said preparation he did. He has so far failed to answer.

Is it an exploit to slap an ST and trun around and pop a Jedi with LD- who knows? A tip to Jedi- Be aware of your surroundings! Stay off the terminals! And if you get Last Ditched in such a fashion REPORT THE ABUSER- you will then get an answer as to if this is an exploit or not.
Running to the forums and posting multiple threads in multiple forums in a campaign to get something nerfed (a Jedi knee jerk reaction) IS NOT PROPER BEHAVIOR.

If you spend your time on the forums you will never be able to get back that XP you lost.
I do not feel bad formost Jediconsidering all the compassionate and empathetic replies "regular" characters get from Jedi when they want to have a PvP event without them.
It's usually, "Cry more noob or ST%U." So that is all I have to say about this.

You would think that jedi don't have another toon to play lol.
For a skill that leaves the Smuggler incapped 2 out of 3 times, this is sure starting a riot.
Think about it, 2 of 3 times if a person tried it, they would incap themselves, and the jedi could walk over, and DB the attacker. However, people start screaming "nerf it", and act like:
A. This happens to every single Jedi
B. Every BH is going to respec to smuggler because of it.
C. It has close to a 33% effectiveness, so Jedi are going to drop like rocks.
The skill works as it's intented, and a few enterprising BH's are trying to use it in a new way. *shrug* Big deal...only an idiot would lead with an attack that would incap themselves 2/3rds the time.
If that's the biggest and best thing Jedi have to complain about...good lord, and here I thought they had some real issues, but apparently the anti-jedi sentiment I see on other boards has some basis in fact. Jedi really are willing to cry about anything, as a group it really seems that want it all handed to them.

I'm not trying to generalize all Jedi, but it really sucks to see people complaining about a Smuggler skill, when our class is beyond nerfed, and has taken a beating since Day 1 from the dev's. Tell ya what.....we've been waiting for a revamp for 2 years now, and to actually have smuggling put into the game. How 'bout we put your concerns about LD in the same hopper, and 2 years from now, the dev's consider taking care of them ?

If you read this thread very carefully, you will see that nobody wants the damage calculations of LD nerfed. All Jedi want is to get the first strike ability of bounty hunters with LD addressed, which will not have any effect on smugglers.
And the last info I have says LD is guaranteed to leave the smuggler with 50 points of health.
