how much does the speed reduce if i have 1,26 speed without tapes and just MLS no enhancer at all?

I think all you'll see is something around a reduction of -.06 speed with +25 in attachments lol.


When I was MLS the amount of reduction I got from attachements was a big joke. Once you go past 120 speed it really does nothing due to diminishing returns. Doc buffs/ForceSpeed Buffs are different as they work off a percent increase, this is one of the reasons why people do notice a difference when using them. But I can assure you the modified speed of a MLS will not even go down by .1 with attachements. You are better off getting Accuracy CA's as a MLS.

Oh and as people have stated, there is NO speed cap, it's all controlled by diminishing returns. The more you have the less they are worth. There is no need to put a cap (like 1.2, which is NOT the cap rofl) when you have the system that gives you next to nothing for adding more speed.

There was actually a nice post I read once that gave you EXACTLY what you would get depending on your current speed mods. Maybe someone can give you the link, it was very educational and does explain very well why speed SEA's are really worthless if you have high speed already.

Since I have MLS, do i have my speed capped, or would a speed CA improve it?

Anyone know what the speed cap is on heavy weapons. Trying to figure out how fast the plasmas can be.

If what you are looking for is not practical, or applied speed, but rather crafted maximums, might I suggest the weaponsmith forum? I can tell you all about using my PFT, but next to nothing about making it.

Only thing I found there was the dmg cap. Just thought someone here might know. I have 2 made by rikster on Ahazi that aren't bad. As things are now the SAC with only ranged shot (LOL) is not a problem. So i thought I would have 1 made with more going to the speed as apposed to the SAC.
