What is that point? I know its different for most people, but is there an average for a ranged player/melee player/jedi?

any one know if there is a speed cap and if so where do we have our cap?

and if there is a cap does force speed and speed buff override it ?


i heard 1,25 speed cap but not sure about that one

Skill Tapes are currently broken and do not work.


When they are fixed you could have +25 General Melee Speed & +25Saber TypeSpeed.


Combat Haste works which are Doc Buffs and Force Speed.

yea but is there a cap on the lightsaber speed?


i mean if so when is it?


my speed is atm 1,26 without any tapes so is it any use for me to go and get loads of tapes to when they actually fix the speed tape

Could be wrong here but with dimishing returns on LS Speed you would be no where near the speed cap which is 1 hit per sec. So yes tapes would be worthwile if they worked.

yes there is a cap of 1.2 spd

yea i know the speed tape do more or less no dps i have tested speed tape before and i got around 1dps per speed i used wich is 50 dps with a full suit . sure that is better then nothing but not worth speed hugh amount of money on.


so you mean there is no actually speed cap becourse i have hard to belive any one can hit speed 1 without force speed or any other buff or food

it has been stated with CU that they cleared all kinda speed caps. tough they could changed this not sure, what the problem now is not with the speed tapes, but that u use ur base speed and not ur modified...

so they cleard all speed caps


so the speed cap is the higher speed you get the less it actullay do for you are i right?

its the deminishing returns that effectivly puts a cap to speed.


the following is using a theoretical 2.0 base speed saber:



a master LS & enhancer 3xxx would have202 lightsaber speed with +50 in tapes ormod speed = 1.165 sec


a master LS & enhancer 3xxx would have 152 lightsaber speed without tapes ormod speed = 1.179 sec


a LS x4x4 & enhancer 3xxx would have157 lightsaber speed with +50 intapes, or mod speed = 1.177 sec



a LS x4x4 & enhancer 3xxx would have107 lightsaber speed without tapes, or mod speed = 1.237 sec


a LS x4x4 with no enhancer would have 137 lightsaber speed with +50 in tapes, or mod speed = 1.189


a LS x4x4 with no enhancer would have 87 lightsaber speed without tapes, or mod speed = 1.297


note the extremely small difference in modspeedbetween master LS with tapes & enhancer and LS x4x4 by itself! IMO saber speed (when it finally works properly) effectivlycaps at anything over 110 lightsaber speed.
